Teams Certification Is Conditional on the Dongle — Read This Carefully
Microsoft’s wording is precise and worth reproducing exactly: the headset is “Certified for Microsoft Teams when you use it with the included Microsoft USB Link”. The certification attaches to the USB-A dongle, not to the Bluetooth connection.
That has a real deployment consequence. If your users pair the headset to a laptop over Bluetooth and leave the USB Link in a drawer, they are running an uncertified configuration. Keep the dongles with the headsets.
