Logitech Zone Wireless Plus — ANC headset with a Unifying receiver

The Logitech Zone Wireless Plus (981-000808) is the version of Zone Wireless that ships with the Unifying™ + Audio USB-A receiver. One receiver in one USB port carries the headset plus up to six Logitech Unifying mice and keyboards — which matters on hot-desk benches, thin clients and port-starved notebooks across Singapore offices.

Active noise cancellation with a dual MEMS microphone array

32 mm drivers with Dynamic EQ, wideband audio and DSP handle both calls and music, while a noise-cancelling omni-directional dual MEMS microphone array rated at 65 dB(A) at 1 kHz keeps your voice above the background. ANC is a physical button on the earcup, not a buried software setting.

Bluetooth 5, a USB receiver and up to 30 m of range

Connect over Bluetooth 5 (backward compatible with Bluetooth 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2), through the bundled USB-A receiver, or via the included USB-C adapter for a modern notebook. The headset holds two active connections and up to eight stored connections, giving a clean handover between your computer and your phone at up to 30 m.

One receiver for the whole desk

Where the standard Zone Wireless ships with an audio-only USB-A receiver, the Plus model's Unifying + Audio receiver consolidates the headset and up to six Unifying peripherals onto a single dongle. A USB-C adapter is included for newer machines, and Logitech Sync gives IT central firmware and inventory control over the deployed fleet.

What is the difference between Zone Wireless and Zone Wireless Plus?
The headset is identical. Zone Wireless Plus (981-000808) ships with the Unifying™ + Audio USB-A receiver, which serves the headset plus up to six Logitech Unifying mice and keyboards from a single USB port. The standard Zone Wireless UC (981-000915) ships with an audio-only USB-A receiver.

What is the difference between the UC and Microsoft Teams versions?
Same hardware. The Microsoft Teams model (981-000855) adds a dedicated Teams button for one-touch join. The UC model (981-000915) is the general-purpose variant. Logitech also lists a Zone Wireless Plus for Microsoft Teams as part number 981-000860, which SourceIT does not currently stock — ask our sales team if you need it.

How long does the battery last with ANC turned on?
Logitech rates the headset at 14 hours of talk time with ANC on and 15 hours with ANC off, and 14 hours of listening with ANC on and 16 hours with ANC off. A full charge takes two hours over USB or Qi, and a five-minute quick charge returns an hour of talk time.

Should I buy this or the newer Zone Wireless 2?
Zone Wireless is the first-generation model and remains a solid ANC headset with Qi charging and the Unifying option. The Zone Wireless 2 UC (981-001312) is the current generation. If you are standardising a new fleet, specify Zone Wireless 2; if you are topping up an existing Zone Wireless deployment, staying on this model keeps your accessories and spares consistent.

Do I need a licence, a room PC or a compute appliance?
No. This is a personal headset. It needs no licence and no room appliance. Logi Tune is a free download for personal settings, and Logitech Sync is free for IT-managed deployment.

Can I charge it wirelessly, and is the pad included?
Qi wireless charging is supported but the pad is sold separately. Logitech lists the charging pad as part number 950-000011 on the UC datasheet and 950-000017 on the Microsoft Teams datasheet — regional part numbers differ, so confirm with our sales team before ordering.

A Logitech datasheet shows a different part number to this listing. Which applies?
Logitech's global datasheets often quote Americas part numbers that differ from the Singapore SKU. We supply against the part number shown on this listing (981-000808). If your procurement system needs a specific regional part number, raise it with our sales team first.
