PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Logitech Screen Share Device HDMI to Conference PC (939-001553) - 2 Years Local Warranty

Wired HDMI Screen Sharing for Any Conference Room

Logitech Screen Share (939-001553) turns any laptop with an HDMI output into an instant content source for your meeting room computer. Plug in the HDMI cable and the guest’s screen appears in the call as a standard UVC video input — no pairing codes, no room Wi-Fi guest network, no presenter software. For Singapore offices that host clients, vendors and auditors in the same boardroom every week, it removes the single most common cause of a meeting starting five minutes late.

Sub-10 ms Latency for Live Demos and Video

Logitech specifies hardware latency of less than 10 ms, with 720p or 1080p input at up to 60 fps down-converted to a clean 1080p 30 fps USB stream. Cursor movement, scrolling spreadsheets and embedded video stay responsive rather than smearing, which matters when the content being shared is a live application demo rather than a static slide.

Plug-and-Play UVC — Nothing for the Presenter to Install

Screen Share is a USB Video Class device, so the room computer sees it as a camera and any meeting application that can share a camera can share the guest’s screen. HDMI embedded audio travels with the video at 48 kHz / 16-bit PCM, so a video clip shared from a laptop arrives with its soundtrack. The optional Logitech Screen Share Application adds convenience on the room PC, but Logitech confirms it is not required.

Compact Enough to Disappear into the Table

At 83 mm long and 30 g, with a 250 mm integrated cable, Screen Share hides under a table top or inside a cable well. Logitech includes a hook-and-loop fastener and cable management mounts in the box, so an AV integrator can commission it permanently without adding another visible box to the meeting room.

Compatibility & Software Support

Logitech Screen Share presents a connected laptop’s HDMI output to the room computer as a standard UVC video source, so the meeting application treats it as a camera input and shares it into the call.

Operating Systems (room computer) Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and macOS 10.10 or higher. The Logitech datasheet additionally lists Windows 7.
Meeting Services Zoom (including Zoom Rooms), Skype for Business, Cisco Webex, BlueJeans and other meeting services that support content sharing.
Room AV Works alongside a Logitech ConferenceCam as the room camera and audio device.
Software The Logitech Screen Share Application is optional — Logitech states the application is not required to use the Screen Share device. Presenters install nothing.
Drivers None required — UVC plug-and-play.

Note: Logitech does not publish Microsoft Teams Rooms or Google Meet as supported services for Screen Share, so SourceIT does not claim them here.

Frequently Asked Questions — Logitech Screen Share

Do presenters need to install software to share their screen?
No. Logitech states the Screen Share Application is not required to use the device. A guest plugs an HDMI cable into their laptop and their screen appears in the meeting as a UVC video source on the room computer. The optional Screen Share Application runs on the room computer only.

What resolution and frame rate does it actually deliver into the meeting?
Screen Share accepts 720p or 1080p input at up to 60 fps and outputs 1080p at 30 fps over USB. It does not pass 4K, and it does not output 60 fps — plan for 1080p30 into the call.

How is Screen Share different from Logitech Swytch?
They solve opposite problems. Screen Share brings a guest laptop’s HDMI output into the room computer as a content source. Logitech Swytch (952-000010) does the reverse — it hands the room’s camera, mic and display out to a visiting laptop so the guest runs the meeting from their own machine. Logitech has never published Swytch as a replacement for Screen Share.

Which meeting platforms are supported?
Logitech officially lists Zoom (including Zoom Rooms), Skype for Business, Cisco Webex and BlueJeans, plus other services that support content sharing. Microsoft Teams Rooms and Google Meet are not named in Logitech’s documentation for this product, so we do not claim them.

Does it need a power supply?
No. Screen Share is bus-powered over the USB connection to the room computer. There is no separate power adapter, which is what makes it easy to hide under a table.

Is Logitech still selling Screen Share?
Logitech has not published a formal end-of-sale notice for Screen Share, but its logitech.com product pages now redirect to the Logitech support hub and the Screen Share Application download has been retired. SourceIT sells remaining stock with full local warranty — talk to us about current availability, or about HDMI content ingest built into Logitech RoomMate and Rally Bar room systems.

Does SourceIT provide local warranty on the Logitech Screen Share?
Yes. Every Logitech Screen Share sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
