The Lenovo Wireless VoIP Headset is Microsoft Teams certified — Lenovo's own datasheet says so — with up to 31 hours of talk time and up to 60 hours of music playback on a charge. Five minutes on the charger gives two hours of playback.
Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-A Receiver in the Box, and Two Devices at Once
It pairs over Bluetooth 5.3 and ships with a USB-A Bluetooth audio receiver so it works with a laptop that has no usable Bluetooth or a locked-down corporate image. Dual Bluetooth keeps two devices connected at the same time — a laptop and a phone — and it remembers eight paired devices for automatic reconnection.
ENC, Not ANC — and the Difference Matters
Lenovo publishes ENC for this headset: environmental noise cancellation that cleans up your microphone so the far end hears less of your surroundings. Lenovo publishes no ANC, so it does not quiet the office for you. Many listings call a headset like this "noise cancelling" and let the buyer assume the second meaning. We will not.
A Boom Mic That Mutes When You Flip It Up
A flip-to-mute boom microphone, 40 mm drivers at 32 ohms, a dedicated Teams button, volume, hook and mute controls, at 140 grams. Charging is over USB-C with a 1.3 m cable supplied; a full charge takes two hours.

Compatibility & Fit
Two different things both called "noise cancelling"
This matters when comparing headsets and speakerphones, and it is the specification most often blurred. ENC — environmental noise cancellation — cleans up the microphone so the people you are talking to hear less of your surroundings. ANC — active noise cancellation — uses the speakers to cancel noise so you hear less of your surroundings. A product can have one, both or neither, and most business headsets in this price range have only the first. On every page in this range we state which one Lenovo actually publishes, and we do not describe an ENC product as noise cancelling without qualification.
The receiver in the box is more useful than it sounds. A USB-A Bluetooth audio receiver means the headset works on a machine whose Bluetooth is disabled by policy, or whose built-in radio is unreliable, or which has no Bluetooth at all. It also gives a consistent connection at a hot desk without re-pairing. Note that it is USB-A — on a laptop with only USB-C ports you will need an adapter, or you can simply pair over Bluetooth instead.
Where Lenovo contradicts itself, and what we did about it. Lenovo publishes two documents covering this part number and they disagree substantially: the dedicated datasheet says 60 hours of playback, 2 hours to charge and 140 grams, while Lenovo's Audio and Video brochure says about 14 hours, 3 hours and 145 grams, and adds a Zoom certification the datasheet does not claim. We publish the dedicated datasheet's figures and we are not repeating the brochure's Zoom certification. If either the battery life or a Zoom certification is decisive for you, ask us and we will get it confirmed in writing before you order.
Two years of warranty, which is unusual here. Lenovo publishes a 2-year term for this headset where the Go Wired Speakerphone beside it has 1 year and several other accessories in this range publish none at all.

Is it genuinely Microsoft Teams certified?
Yes. Lenovo's datasheet states "Microsoft Teams Certified" for this part number, and Lenovo's own product title carries it too. Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, Slack and others are listed by Lenovo as compatible only. One Lenovo brochure does claim Zoom certification for this SKU; the dedicated datasheet does not, so we do not.
Does it have active noise cancellation?
No. Lenovo publishes ENC — noise cancellation on the microphone, so the people you are talking to hear less of your surroundings. It publishes no ANC, so the headset does not quiet the room for you. If you want ANC, the TWS Earbuds X9 in the ordering table are the product in this range with a published ANC figure.
How long does the battery last?
Lenovo's datasheet publishes up to 31 hours of talk time and up to 60 hours of music playback, a two-hour full charge, and a five-minute quick charge giving two hours of playback. Note that a separate Lenovo brochure gives a much lower figure for the same part number; we publish the dedicated datasheet, and we will get the discrepancy resolved for you on request.
Do I have to use the USB receiver?
No. It pairs over Bluetooth 5.3 like any headset, and holds two devices connected at once. The USB-A receiver is there for machines whose Bluetooth is disabled by policy or unreliable. Note it is USB-A, so a USB-C-only laptop needs an adapter — or just use Bluetooth.
