PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Gen 6 (21R5002BSG) - 3 Years Local Warranty
1.21 kg — the Lightest Machine in This Range
The ThinkPad L13 Gen 6 weighs from 1.21 kg and measures under 19 mm at its thickest point. For staff who carry a laptop between sites every day, that is the specification that gets noticed — it is roughly 400 g lighter than the 16-inch E16, which is the difference between a bag you notice and one you do not.
A Brighter 400-Nit Display in a 13.3-inch Chassis
The 13.3-inch WUXGA 1920 x 1200 panel runs at 400 nits, meaningfully brighter than the 300-nit panels on the E-series machines here. Combined with the anti-glare finish and 16:10 aspect ratio, it holds up in bright meeting rooms, cafés and airport lounges where a 300-nit screen starts to struggle.
Two Thunderbolt 4 Ports and Optional Mobile Broadband
Two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 ports at 40 Gbps with DisplayPort 2.1 and 15–65 W power delivery, plus two USB-A and HDMI 2.1. Unlike the E-series, the L13 platform also supports 4G LTE WWAN — genuinely useful for field staff who cannot rely on finding Wi-Fi.
Two Things to Know Before Ordering: No Ethernet, Soldered Memory
There is no RJ-45 ethernet port on this chassis — a real consideration if your sites still require a wired connection, though a USB-C dock or the ThinkVision P24h-30 supplies one. And the 16GB of LPDDR5X memory is soldered, with no slots and no upgrade path.
Specification note. A ThinkPad model name is not a specification — each part number is one specific factory build, and two machines sharing a model name can differ in display panel, camera, fingerprint reader, wireless card, battery and operating-system edition. The specifications on this page combine Lenovo's own PSREF documentation for the ThinkPad L13 Gen 6 platform, which is fixed for the machine type, with the configuration supplied to us for part number 21R5002BSG. Items that genuinely vary between builds are listed under Configuration-Dependent Items in the datasheet below rather than guessed at. If any single specification is decisive for your purchase — the panel, the operating-system edition, a free memory or storage slot — contact us before ordering and we will confirm it against Lenovo's per-part-number record. Specifications and prices are subject to change by Lenovo without notice.

Compatibility & Fit
This is the travel machine of the four. At 1.21 kg with a 400-nit screen and a 54.7Wh battery, the L13 Gen 6 is built for staff who work from different places every week. The E-series machines are better value per specification; this one is better to carry.
Two limitations to weigh honestly. There is no ethernet port — if your sites mandate wired connections, you will need a USB-C dock or a docking monitor. And the memory is soldered at 16GB with no upgrade path, as it is on the Lunar Lake E14. For a five-year deployment where requirements grow, the socketed E14 Gen 7 is the more flexible asset.
What the L series adds over the E series is mobility and options: two Thunderbolt 4 ports rather than one, 4G LTE mobile broadband support, an optional smart card reader for organisations using card-based authentication, and a brighter screen. Lenovo's own warranty book also lists 3-year base options for the L13 Gen 6, which it does not for the E14 and E16 — a sign of where Lenovo positions the line.
Storage note: the single M.2 slot takes the short 2242 form factor rather than the common 2280. Aftermarket 2242 drives exist but the choice is narrower and prices are higher, so specify the capacity you need at purchase rather than planning to upgrade.

The PSREF specification book documents the ThinkPad L13 Gen 6 (Intel) platform — chassis, ports, memory architecture and certifications, which are fixed for the machine type. The per-part-number link opens Lenovo's configuration record for this exact SKU and renders in a normal browser; it is the definitive reference for the options fitted to this particular build.
Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Gen 6
How light is it really?
From 1.21 kg — the lightest here. The 14-inch E14 starts at 1.32 kg and the 16-inch E16 at 1.63 kg.
Does it have an ethernet port?
No. This chassis has no RJ-45. Use a USB-C dock, or a docking monitor such as the ThinkVision P24h-30, which provides gigabit ethernet over the same cable that carries video and charging.
Can the memory be upgraded?
No. The 16GB LPDDR5X is soldered with no slots. If you need headroom, choose the E14 Gen 7 21SX000GSG, which takes up to 64GB in two SODIMM slots.
Can it take a SIM for mobile broadband?
The L13 Gen 6 platform supports 4G LTE WWAN, which the E-series does not. Whether this particular unit ships with the modem fitted or simply antenna-ready is build-specific — ask us and we will confirm before you order.
Is the screen better than the E-series?
Brighter, yes — 400 nits against 300 — which helps outdoors and in bright rooms. It is smaller at 13.3 inches, so there is less working area.
Can I replace the SSD later?
There is one M.2 slot and it takes the short 2242 form factor rather than the more common 2280. Replacement drives exist but choice is limited, so buy the capacity you need up front.
What warranty does it come with?
3-year onsite service per the distributor configuration for this part number, plus local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice from us. Lenovo's PSREF book does list 3-year base options for the L13 Gen 6, unlike the E-series models.
