Jabra Evolve 40 MS Stereo Wired Office Headset for Professional Calls
The Jabra Evolve 40 MS Stereo Office Headset USB-A, 3.5mm (6399-823-109) is a plug-and-play corded headset engineered for clear, reliable business calls. It is certified for Microsoft Skype for Business and optimised for Microsoft Teams, with a dual-ear (stereo) design that helps you focus in noisy open offices and enjoy music between calls. A noise-cancelling boom microphone keeps your voice clear even in a busy Singapore office or hybrid work-from-home setup.
Built-In Busylight — Your Personal Do-Not-Disturb Sign
An integrated busylight on the ear cups lights up automatically on calls (or on demand), signalling to colleagues in open offices that you should not be interrupted. The discreet boom arm clicks magnetically onto the headband when not in use.
USB and 3.5 mm Connectivity with Intelligent Call Transfer
Connect via the USB-A control unit to your PC or Mac, or use the 3.5 mm jack with smartphones and tablets. Jabra Intelligent Call Transfer lets you move a softphone call to your smartphone and head out the door without dropping the conversation.
HiFi Sound with Passive Noise Cancellation
28 mm speakers deliver wideband voice on calls and HiFi-grade music between them, while specially designed ear cushions passively block office noise so you can concentrate.

Frequently Asked Questions — Jabra Evolve 40
What is the difference between the MS and UC versions?
MS variants are certified/optimised for Microsoft Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams, with Microsoft-specific call notifications. UC variants are tuned for other platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet and Cisco Webex. Both work as standard USB audio devices on Windows and macOS.
Should I choose Mono or Stereo?
Mono (single ear) keeps you aware of colleagues and walk-up visitors — popular for reception, retail and helpdesk roles. Stereo (dual ear) blocks more office noise and is better for concentration and music.
How does the Evolve 40 compare with the Evolve 20 and 30 II?
The Evolve 40 is the top wired model of the trio: like the Evolve 30 II it has USB + 3.5 mm connectivity, and it adds an integrated busylight on the ear cups, a magnetic stow-away boom arm and Intelligent Call Transfer. The Evolve 20 is the USB-only entry model. The current-generation successor is the Jabra Evolve2 40 SE.
Does the Evolve 40 work with smartphones and tablets?
Yes — the headset cable ends in a 3.5 mm jack you can plug into any device with a headphone socket; the USB-A control unit adds call control, mute and volume when used with a computer.
Does the Jabra Evolve 40 need charging?
No. The Evolve 40 is a corded USB headset powered by your computer — there is no battery, no charging and no wireless pairing, so it is always ready and inherently secure (no radio transmission).
Does it come with a local warranty?
Yes. Every Evolve 40 sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
