Multi-Gig Firewall, VPN and PoE in One Small-Business Gateway
The HPE Networking Instant On Secure Gateway SG2505P (S0G34A) is the larger of HPE's two Instant On Secure Gateways. It combines a firewall, intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS), site-to-site and client VPN, and WAN failover in one cloud-managed box, and HPE recommends it for networks of up to 300 users.
HPE quotes 2.4 Gbps firewall and IDS/IPS throughput and 2.3 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput, so security inspection keeps up with multi-gigabit fibre broadband.
2.5GbE WAN Ports and Dual-ISP Resilience
Two 100/1000/2500 multi-gig ports (one WAN, one configurable WAN/LAN), plus a configurable Gigabit WAN/LAN port and two Gigabit LAN ports, let you connect two or more internet services for failover or load balancing. A USB-A 2.0 port is also provided.
64 W of Class 4 PoE Built In
Four ports deliver Class 4 PoE from a 64 W budget, so a small site can power access points or cameras directly from the gateway. It can sit on a desk, mount on a wall or go into a telco rack.
Managed from the Same App as Your Instant On Switches and Wi-Fi
The gateway is set up and monitored from the HPE Networking Instant On mobile app or cloud portal, alongside Instant On switches and access points. HPE highlights an AI-powered network assistant for creating policies, plus application visibility, VLANs (up to 22) and TPM 2.0 hardware security.
Supplied in Singapore with a 2-Year Warranty
