Two Displays up to 27″ on One Constant Force Lift
The Ergotron TRACE Dual Monitor Mount in white carries two screens of 21.5″ to 27″ each, rated by Ergotron at 8.1 to 21.5 lbs (3.7 to 9.8 kg). Patented Constant Force™ Technology with a linear guide system lifts both displays together through 11″ (28 cm) at a fingertip and holds the setting without tension knobs — which is exactly what a shared or hot-desked workstation needs.
Independent Pivots, 240° Pan and 360° Rotation
Each screen has its own counter-balanced pivot with 75° up / 5° down tilt and a full 360° of rotation, so one display can run portrait for code, contracts or long documents while the other stays landscape. The assembly pans 240° — well beyond the 180° most arms offer — and extends 15″ (38.1 cm) for sharing a screen across the desk.
A White Finish That Recedes Into the Fit-Out
The white finish suits light-timber, white-laminate and pale-partition interiors and keeps the hardware visually quiet. With both factory stands removed, the desk surface comes back — a real gain on the compact desks common in Singapore CBD offices, co-working suites and home setups — and integrated cable management routes the cabling along the arm and out of sight.

Convertible in Both Directions
A TRACE installation is not fixed. The TRACE Single Conversion Kit (47-109-224) takes this dual configuration back to a single display, and the Dual Bow Conversion Kit (47-110-224) does the reverse on a single mount — so desks can be re-configured as teams and roles change.

Ergotron footnote: LCD size is an approximation and is the diagonal measurement of the screen. LCD size may be exceeded as long as screen weight does not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the mount. Ergotron publishes the 8.1–21.5 lbs (3.7–9.8 kg) figure as the rated capacity of the mount — plan both displays against it, and contact SourceIT if your pair sits near the ceiling.
Compatibility & Fit
The Ergotron TRACE Dual Monitor Mount carries two displays of 21.5″ to 27″ each, rated by Ergotron at 8.1 to 21.5 lbs (3.7 to 9.8 kg). The dual configuration deliberately caps screen size at 27″ — wider panels on a shared bow would exceed the mount's balance envelope. If you need a single larger screen, the TRACE Monitor Mount (45-630) takes one display up to 38″.
Important: Ergotron publishes the 3.7–9.8 kg rating as a single capacity figure for the mount rather than as a per-display number. Weigh both monitors together and check the total against it. If your pair is close to the limit, send SourceIT the two model numbers and we will check the mount against Ergotron's data before you order.
Mounting: the two-piece desk clamp is supplied in the box. A Slim Profile Clamp and a Grommet Mount are available separately (part numbers below). Ergotron does not publish a desk-thickness limit on the TRACE product sheet — for thick, lipped or reinforced desktops, or for benching systems with a cable spine, send SourceIT a photo and a measurement and we will confirm the right clamp.
VESA fit: VESA MIS-D, covering 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm. Displays with a recessed or non-standard rear housing may need the monitor maker's own adapter plate.
Ultrawide and curved displays: a curved 27″ panel mounts normally provided the VESA pattern is standard and the pair stays inside the weight rating. Ultrawides above 27″ belong on the single mount, not the dual bow.

What is the difference between the matte black and white finishes?
Only the finish. 45-631-224 Matte Black and 45-631-216 White (this listing) share the same bow, lift, capacity and motion figures. Match the finish to your desk and room; note the optional Slim Profile Clamp is finish-matched (98-490-216 white, 98-490-224 matte black) while the grommet mount is matte black only.
How large can each monitor be?
Ergotron rates the TRACE Dual for displays of 21.5″ to 27″ each. The 27″ ceiling is a real limit on the dual — two wider panels on the shared bow would push the mount outside its balance envelope. For a single screen up to 38″, use the TRACE Monitor Mount (45-630) instead.
Is the 8.1–21.5 lbs rating per monitor or for both together?
Ergotron's product sheet publishes 8.1 to 21.5 lbs (3.7 to 9.8 kg) as the rated capacity of the mount, without splitting it per display. Treat it as the figure your two monitors must fit within, weigh both, and check the total. If you are close to the limit, send SourceIT the model numbers and we will verify before you order.
Can I convert this back to a single-monitor setup later?
Yes. The TRACE Single Conversion Kit (47-109-224) converts an installed dual configuration to a single-display setup — useful when a desk changes hands or a user's needs change. It is the reverse of the Dual Bow Conversion Kit (47-110-224), which takes a single mount to dual.
How does it attach, and will it fit our desks?
The supplied two-piece clamp fixes to the rear edge of the desk. Ergotron also offers a Slim Profile Clamp and a Grommet Mount separately. Ergotron does not publish a desk-thickness limit for TRACE, so for thick or lipped desktops and for benching systems, send SourceIT a measurement and we will confirm the correct clamp.
Do I need VESA adapters?
Usually not — the pivots cover VESA MIS-D at 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm, which fits the large majority of business monitors. Displays with no VESA pattern or a deeply recessed housing may need the manufacturer's own adapter plate.
