Ergotron TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Ergotron TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL (61-142-003) - 5 Years Local Warranty
A 900 mm Wall Plate for Large-Format Displays
The Ergotron TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL (61-142-003) is the wide-plate version of Ergotron's TM tilting mount, built for displays 42 inches and larger weighing up to 175 lb (79.4 kg). Its 35.4 in (900 mm) wall plate spreads the load across a wider span, which is what large-format boardroom, auditorium and signage panels need.
VESA Horizontal Spacing to 800 mm
The defining specification against the standard TM is VESA reach. The XL extends horizontal hole spacing to 800 mm (vertical 100–450 mm) across MIS-D, MIS-E and MIS-F. Many 75, 85 and 98 inch commercial panels use wide horizontal patterns that the 600 mm standard TM cannot reach — the XL is the answer for those displays.
Constant Force Tilt with Integrated Tilt-Lock
Like the standard TM, the XL uses Ergotron's Constant Force (CF) motion technology to give 20° of tilt (+15° forward, −5° back) that one person can adjust by hand, with tilt-lock levers to hold the angle. On a very large panel mounted high in an auditorium or lobby, hand-adjustable tilt after installation is a genuine commissioning advantage.
UL 2442 Certified with a Five-Year Warranty
The XL is UL 2442 certified and carries a five-year Ergotron warranty. Mounting hardware for wood studs and concrete walls is supplied, and the mount holds the display 3.5 in (89 mm) from the wall with 4 in (102 mm) of clearance for cabling. Every unit SourceIT supplies comes with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.

Ergotron does not publish a pan/swivel figure, an unboxed product weight or a construction material specification for the TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL. Previous-generation TM mounts (60-572, 60-573, 60-574, 60-512) are different products and their figures do not apply to the 61-142-003.
Compatibility & Fit
VESA fit — the reason to choose the XL. Horizontal hole spacing runs from 100 mm all the way to 800 mm, with vertical spacing 100–450 mm, across MIS-D, MIS-E and MIS-F. Large commercial panels in the 75–98 in class frequently use wide horizontal patterns beyond the 600 mm limit of the standard TM (61-143-003). If your display's horizontal VESA spacing exceeds 600 mm, the XL is the correct specification.
Screen size and weight. Single display, 42 in and larger, up to 175 lb (79.4 kg). There is no minimum weight requirement, because the TM is a tilting bracket rather than a counterbalanced lift.
Ultrawide and curved displays. Ergotron publishes no separate rating. The governing limits are the VESA hole spacing and the 175 lb weight rating. The wide 900 mm wall plate generally suits large curved panels well, but contact SourceIT to confirm bracket clearance for a specific model.
Mounting surface. Hardware is supplied for timber studs and concrete wall surfaces. Ergotron does not publish an on-centre stud spacing requirement for this part number. Given the size and weight of the displays this mount is designed for, SourceIT recommends confirming the structural substrate at survey stage — particularly in fit-outs using lightweight partitions.
Handling on site. The mount itself ships at only 16 lb (7.3 kg), but the displays it carries do not. Installing a large-format panel on a 900 mm plate is a two-person job at minimum.

Frequently Asked Questions — Ergotron TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL
What makes the XL different from the standard TM Tilting Wall Mount?
Wall plate span and VESA reach. The XL has a 35.4 in (900 mm) wide, 31.5 in (800 mm) tall wall plate and supports horizontal VESA spacing up to 800 mm, for displays 42 in and larger. The standard TM (61-143-003) has a 23.6 in (600 mm) plate and reaches 600 mm horizontally, for 32–120 in displays. Both carry up to 175 lb (79.4 kg), tilt 20°, are UL 2442 certified and carry a five-year warranty.
What size and weight display does the XL take?
Ergotron specifies displays 42 inches and larger, up to 175 lb (79.4 kg). Confirm your panel's weight from its own datasheet rather than estimating from diagonal — commercial-grade panels are considerably heavier than consumer TVs of the same size.
How far does the screen tilt?
20 degrees total: 15° forward and 5° back. Ergotron's Constant Force technology means one person can adjust it by hand, and tilt-lock levers on the display brackets hold the set angle.
Does it move up and down?
No. The TM XL tilts only. For height adjustment, look at the Glide Wall Mount, HD (18 in lift, 20–40 lb) or Glide Wall Mount, VHD (16 in lift, 45–70 lb) — though both carry smaller and lighter displays than the TM XL.
Will it fit my 85 or 98 inch signage panel?
Very likely, provided the panel weighs no more than 175 lb (79.4 kg) and its VESA pattern falls within 100–800 mm horizontally and 100–450 mm vertically. The 800 mm horizontal reach is precisely why the XL exists — many large-format panels exceed the 600 mm limit of the standard TM.
Can it be fitted to concrete?
Yes. Ergotron supplies mounting hardware for both wood studs and concrete wall surfaces. Concrete is the usual substrate in Singapore commercial buildings.
Does the TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL come with a Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Ergotron TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice; Ergotron backs the TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
