Ergotron Glide Wall Mount, VHD
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Ergotron Glide Wall Mount, VHD (61-128-085) - 5 Years Local Warranty
16 Inches of Counterbalanced Lift for Displays up to 70 lb
The Ergotron Glide Wall Mount, VHD (61-128-085) brings Ergotron's Constant Force counterbalance to the very heavy-duty class. It carries 45–70 lb (20.4–31.8 kg) on 46–63 inch displays and glides them through 16 in (40.6 cm) of vertical travel with fingertip effort. Large meeting-room and classroom panels that would normally be hung once and never moved become genuinely adjustable.
Right-Size the Screen Height for Every Session
A 55 or 63 inch panel hung at a single fixed height always suits one use case and compromises the rest. With 16 inches of travel the same display drops for a seated boardroom discussion and rises for a standing huddle or a clinical review. For Singapore organisations running shared, multi-purpose rooms at high utilisation, that flexibility is recovered floor-space value, not a luxury.
10° Tilt, 2.5-Inch Profile, Cable Management Included
The VHD adds 10 degrees of tilt for glare control and keeps the panel 2.5 in (6.4 cm) from the wall. Cable management hardware is supplied so power and signal cabling tracks the display through its full stroke. VESA coverage runs 100–400 mm horizontally and 100–400 mm vertically across MIS-D, MIS-E and MIS-F, which is broader at the low end than the Glide HD.
Backed by a Five-Year Ergotron Warranty
Ergotron's product sheet specifies a five-year warranty on the Glide Wall Mount range. A counterbalance mechanism in a shared room is handled many times a day, so a long manufacturer term is a meaningful signal of the engineering behind it. Every unit SourceIT supplies comes with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.

Ergotron does not publish assembled product dimensions, unboxed product weight, construction materials or substrate requirements for the 61-128-085, so those are omitted here rather than estimated. In particular, do not assume the Glide HD's drywall thickness requirement applies to this larger mount — contact SourceIT to confirm the installation specification for your site.
Compatibility & Fit
VESA fit. Supports VESA MIS-D, MIS-E and MIS-F with horizontal and vertical ranges both spanning 100–400 mm. This is broader at the low end than the Glide HD, which requires a 200 mm horizontal minimum.
Screen size and weight. 46–63 in displays weighing 45–70 lb (20.4–31.8 kg). As with any counterbalanced lift, the weight window is a genuine requirement rather than a maximum: a display below 45 lb will not load the mechanism correctly and will tend to drift upward. If your panel weighs 20–40 lb, specify the Glide Wall Mount, HD instead.
Single screen only. The Glide VHD carries one display; Ergotron publishes no dual configuration.
Mounting surface. Ergotron does not publish substrate requirements specific to the 61-128-085. Given a moving load of up to 70 lb, structural backing — solid concrete or correctly located timber studs — is the sensible assumption, and lightweight partitions without backing are not appropriate. Because Ergotron does not state this for this part number, SourceIT recommends a site survey before ordering.
Ultrawide and curved displays. No separate rating is published. The governing constraints remain the VESA range and the 45–70 lb counterbalance window. Contact SourceIT to confirm clearance for curved panels.

Frequently Asked Questions — Ergotron Glide Wall Mount, VHD
How much height adjustment does the Glide VHD give?
16 inches (40.6 cm) of Constant Force counterbalanced travel. The display moves with fingertip pressure and holds position anywhere in that range.
What size and weight of display does it support?
46–63 in screens weighing 45–70 lb (20.4–31.8 kg). Weight is the binding specification — a counterbalance must be loaded within its designed range to hold position, so both the lower and upper figures matter.
What is the difference between the Glide HD and the Glide VHD?
Capacity and travel. The Glide HD (61-061-085) handles 20–40 lb (9.1–18.1 kg) on 30–55 in screens with 18 in of lift and a 2 in profile. The Glide VHD (61-128-085) handles 45–70 lb (20.4–31.8 kg) on 46–63 in screens with 16 in of lift and a 2.5 in profile. The VHD also accepts a 100 mm horizontal VESA minimum where the HD requires 200 mm. Both tilt 10° and both carry a five-year Ergotron warranty.
Does it pan or swivel side to side?
No. The Glide VHD moves vertically through its 16 in lift and tilts 10°. Ergotron lists pan as not applicable for this mount.
Can it hold two monitors?
No — it is a single-display mount. For multi-screen wall installations, contact SourceIT about Ergotron's LX and HX wall-mount arm ranges.
Will it fit a 65 or 75 inch panel?
Ergotron's published range is 46–63 in, so a 65 in or larger panel is outside the stated specification. For large-format displays, the TM Tilting Wall Mount (61-143-003) covers 32–120 in up to 175 lb, and the TM Tilting Wall Mount, XL (61-142-003) covers 42 in and above — though both are tilt-only, with no height adjustment.
Is cable management included in the box?
Yes. Ergotron supplies cable management hardware, which is important on a height-adjustable mount where cabling must travel with the display through the full 16-inch stroke.
Does the Glide Wall Mount, VHD come with a Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Ergotron Glide Wall Mount, VHD sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice; Ergotron backs the Glide Wall Mount, VHD with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
