The Ergotron LX Sit-Stand Desk Mount LCD Arm (45-360-026) delivers 20″ (51 cm) of vertical travel from a standard desk — enough to move a screen from a seated eye line to a standing one and back. Ultrawide and curved screens: a 34″ ultrawide typically sits inside both the 42″ size limit and the 25 lbs weight limit, and the arm's 360° pan handles the extra width well. Heavier 38″–49″ panels and deeply curved 1000R displays exceed this arm's rating — use the HX Desk Monitor Arm (up to 42 lbs / 19 kg) or the HX Desk Monitor Arm with HD Pivot for those.
Very light screens: the Constant Force mechanism has a lower limit of 7 lbs (3.2 kg). Panels lighter than that will not hold position correctly on this arm.
