The Ergotron LX HD Wall Mount Swing Arm (45-268-026) is the heavy-duty member of the LX wall family, rated by Ergotron for displays up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) and screens up to 42″. That is double the capacity of the standard LX Wall Monitor Arm, which makes it the right choice for large-format monitors, digital signage panels and meeting-room displays that a conventional monitor arm cannot safely carry.

The arm extends the display 13″ (33 cm) out from the wall so a presenter or clinician can pull the screen towards them, then folds back to a retracted depth of just 3.7″ (9.1 cm). Ergotron's datasheet refers to the website for VESA detail; its own installation guide for this model documents adapter configurations for 75 × 75, 100 × 100, 100 × 200, 200 × 100 and 200 × 200 mm, and the Ergotron catalogue designates the model MIS-D / MIS-E / MIS-F. That covers the great majority of business monitors and commercial panels up to 42″.
Weight and size fit. Up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) and 42″. Check the panel weight on your display's spec sheet excluding its factory stand — that is the figure that matters.
Ultrawide and curved displays. Ergotron publishes the limit by weight and diagonal, not by aspect ratio, so an ultrawide within 50 lbs and 42″ with a supported VESA pattern will mount. A wide or deeply curved panel loads the pivot asymmetrically, so centre it carefully on the plate and confirm the larger VESA patterns (200 × 100 / 200 × 200) are used where the display offers them.
Number of screens. Single display.
No vertical lift. This is a swing/tilt arm, not a sit-stand arm — Ergotron publishes no height-adjustment range for it. If you need the screen to move between seated and standing height, the LX Sit-Stand Wall Mount LCD Arm is the correct product; see the ordering section.
Wall type — read this before ordering. Ergotron's installation instruction for the LX HD range is explicit: the wall structure must be capable of supporting four times the total weight of the mounted equipment. With a 50 lb (22.7 kg) display that means a structure rated for roughly 200 lbs (91 kg). Ergotron documents two approved surfaces: a wood stud, using M8 × 80 mm bolts, and solid concrete, drilled to a depth of at least 3-1/8″ (80 mm). Most Singapore commercial and residential walls are reinforced concrete or solid block, which suits the concrete method — but the anchor must land in solid concrete, not in mortar joints or render, and a plasterboard partition is not a suitable substrate on its own. The LX HD Wall Mount Pivot (45-269-009, black) is a low-profile pivot with no extension arm and only 40° of pan. Both take 50 lbs and 42″, both tilt 20°, and both carry the same 5-year warranty. Choose the Swing Arm when someone needs to pull the screen towards them; choose the Pivot when the screen should stay near the wall and only needs a small angle change.
