Unity Power Factor Line-Interactive UPS for Racks
The Eaton 5PX G2 5PX3000IRT2UG2 is a 3000 VA / 3000 W line-interactive UPS with a unity power factor, so every VA is a usable watt. It delivers a clean sine-wave output and fits 2U of a 19-inch rack or stands as a tower, a strong fit for server racks, network cabinets and edge IT in Singapore offices and data rooms.
Automatic Voltage Regulation and 98% Efficiency
AVR corrects voltage deviations across a 160–294 V input window without draining the battery. Eaton rates the unit at 98% efficiency at max. load, which lowers running and cooling costs, and the LCD meters energy consumption down to the managed outlet groups.
Expandable Runtime and Network-Ready
Runtime can be extended with up to 4 optional Eaton EBMs. One slot accepts an optional Eaton communication card, and Eaton lists compatibility with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen and Red Hat virtual environments through Eaton Intelligent Power Manager.

What It Is Suited To
Rack servers, storage, firewalls and core switching up to 3000 W. With a unity power factor you can load it to its full VA rating in watts; still leave headroom for growth.
Operating Systems and Software
The USB port is HID compliant, so Windows, macOS and Linux recognise it natively. Eaton Intelligent Power Protector and Intelligent Power Manager handle shutdown, including virtualised hosts. For network monitoring, add an optional Eaton network card in the communication slot.
Outlets
8 x IEC C13, 2 x IEC C19, with an IEC C20 input with a 1.8 m input cord. Equipment with a BS 1363 (Type G) plug needs an IEC lead or an IEC-input power strip.
