PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Cisco Meraki MR86 Wi-Fi 6 Outdoor Access Point (MR86-HW) — 1-Year Hardware Warranty

Rugged 4x4 Wi-Fi 6 for outdoor sites

The Cisco Meraki MR86 is an IP67-rated, cloud-managed 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) outdoor access point for campuses, stadiums, ports, warehouse yards and public spaces that need high-capacity coverage outdoors.

Four spatial streams per band

Both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz client radios run 4x4 MIMO with four spatial streams and UL/DL MU-MIMO. Meraki lists up to 2,402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, a 3.0 Gbps dual-radio aggregate frame rate in the MR86 data sheet.

2.5 Gbps multigigabit uplink

A single 100/1000/2.5GBASE-T Ethernet port carries both data and power, so the AP can pass more than 1 Gbps of traffic over existing copper cabling. 802.3at PoE+ is required.

External antennas for shaped coverage

The MR86 uses external antennas, chosen to suit the site: Meraki lists MA-ANT-20, MA-ANT-25, MA-ANT-27 and Cisco AIR-ANT2513P4M-N= as compatible. Antennas are not included.

Built for harsh environments

The enclosure is rated IP67 and tested for dust, shock, vibration and moisture, with an operating range of -40 °C to 55 °C. Wall and pole mounting hardware is included.
