Rugged 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 for outdoor coverage
The Cisco Meraki MR76 is an IP67-rated, cloud-managed 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) outdoor access point for courtyards, car parks, campus grounds, loading bays and other outdoor areas.
Two spatial streams per band
The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz client radios each run 2x2 MIMO with two spatial streams and UL/DL MU-MIMO. Meraki lists up to 1,201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 286 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, a 1.5 Gbps dual-radio aggregate frame rate in the MR76 data sheet.
Runs on standard 802.3af PoE
A single Gigabit Ethernet port carries data and power. The MR76 draws up to 15 W and is 802.3af compatible, so it can run from standard PoE switch ports or injectors.
External antennas for shaped coverage
The MR76 uses external antennas to suit each site: Meraki lists MA-ANT-20, MA-ANT-21, MA-ANT-23, MA-ANT-25 and MA-ANT-27 as compatible. Antennas are not included.
Mesh, security and analytics
Built-in mesh networking, a dedicated WIDS/WIPS and spectrum analysis radio (Air Marshal) and a Bluetooth Low Energy radio for beacons and location analytics are managed from the Meraki dashboard.

Cloud management
The MR76 is configured and monitored from the Cisco Meraki cloud dashboard, with cloud-based RF planning, self-configuring mesh, automatic RF optimisation and firmware updates.
Licensing
As with other Cisco Meraki MR access points, the MR76 requires a Meraki access point licence to operate on the Meraki dashboard.
Power
The MR76 is 802.3af compatible and draws up to 15 W. Meraki notes the PoE injector is sold separately.
