A 16-Inch Intel Core Ultra Business Laptop with a Full Numeric Keypad
The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G1 P3606CCA-MB0381X is a 16-inch business laptop built on the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor, with 16GB of DDR5 memory, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Pro preinstalled. The larger 16-inch WUXGA screen and the numeric keypad make it a practical fit for finance, accounts, operations and data-entry staff who spend the day in spreadsheets and line-of-business systems. It is finished in Misty Grey with an aluminium display lid.
This is the Core Ultra 5 configuration of the 16-inch P3 G1. Its sibling P3606CCA-MB0380X uses the same chassis, memory, storage and screen with the faster Core Ultra 7 255H processor; for a more portable 14-inch version, see the P3406CCA-LY0040X (Intel) or the PM3406CHA-LY0120X (AMD).
Intel Core Ultra 5 225H with Intel AI Boost NPU
The Core Ultra 5 225H combines 14 cores and 14 threads, running from 1.7GHz up to 4.9GHz with 18MB of cache. That is plenty for Microsoft 365, browser-based SaaS, accounting packages and video calls running side by side. The built-in Intel AI Boost NPU (up to 13 TOPS) takes on supported background AI work such as Windows Studio Effects, so camera blur and noise suppression do not tie up the main cores.
16.0-inch WUXGA Anti-Glare Display
The 16.0-inch non-touch panel runs at WUXGA 1920 x 1200 in a 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives you more vertical space for documents and spreadsheets than a standard 16:9 Full HD screen. It is anti-glare, rated at 300 nits with 1000:1 typical contrast and 45% NTSC colour gamut, and has a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It suits office lighting well; it is not aimed at colour-critical design work.
Upgradeable Memory and Storage
Memory is 16GB DDR5 in SO-DIMM form across two slots, so it can be expanded later (ASUS lists up to 96GB for this platform) rather than being soldered to the board. Storage is a 512GB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, and the chassis also has a second M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 slot, which is useful if your IT team wants to add a second drive. Upgrades require removing the bottom case.
Wi-Fi 7, Ethernet and a Full Set of Ports
Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4 (USB4 compliant), a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a built-in RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Both Type-C ports support display output and power delivery, and wireless is Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be, tri-band 2x2) with Bluetooth 5.4. Sign-in is covered twice over, by a fingerprint sensor in the power key and an IR camera for Windows Hello face recognition, and the 1080p camera has a physical privacy shutter. Firmware TPM, BIOS self-recovery, Absolute Persistence support and ASUS ExpertGuardian (NIST SP 800-155) support standard IT security policies. ASUS tests the chassis to the US MIL-STD 810H military-grade standard (24 procedures).

Connectivity & Setup / Security Features
Docking and External Displays
The Thunderbolt 4 port carries display, data at up to 40Gbps and charging over one cable, so a Thunderbolt or USB-C dock at the desk can power the laptop and drive external monitors in a single connection. The second USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2) also supports display output and power delivery, and HDMI 2.1 connects a monitor or meeting-room screen directly.
Wired and Wireless Networking
The built-in RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port connects straight to an office LAN with no adapter. Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be, tri-band 2x2) works with current Wi-Fi 7 access points and falls back to Wi-Fi 6E/6/5 networks; Bluetooth 5.4 handles headsets, mice and keyboards.
First-Time Setup
The laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro, so it can join Microsoft Entra ID or an on-premises Active Directory domain and be enrolled in Intune or another MDM on first boot. MyASUS provides system diagnostics, battery health charging (to limit charge level on machines that stay plugged in) and fan profiles. ASUS MyExpert adds ExpertMeet meeting tools on supported configurations.
Sign-In and Device Protection
Users can sign in with the fingerprint sensor in the power key or the IR camera through Windows Hello, and the physical shutter closes the camera when it is not in use. Firmware TPM supports BitLocker drive encryption, and Intel Boot Guard and BIOS Guard protect the firmware from tampering. Absolute Persistence 2.0 support lets IT track and lock lost devices, and the Kensington Nano slot accepts a cable lock for hot-desk areas.
