3.55Gbps of Wi-Fi 6 Capacity
The TQ6602 GEN2 pairs a 4x4 2.4GHz radio with a 4x4 5GHz radio, both 802.11ax, for a raw capacity of 3.55 Gigabits. OFDMA and bi-directional MU-MIMO let the access point serve many clients at once, making it a strong fit for classrooms, wards, offices and other busy spaces.
Hybrid Mode: Speed and Seamless Roaming Together
With Allied Telesis Autonomous Wave Control (AWC), the AP can run multi-channel for maximum throughput, single-channel Channel Blanket so all APs look like one virtual AP for roaming devices, or both at once in hybrid mode. AWC also continually tunes channels and transmit power to reduce interference and coverage gaps.
Two Multi-Gigabit Uplinks
Two 100M/1G/2.5G/5G RJ-45 ports remove the wired bottleneck behind a Wi-Fi 6 AP, and can be aggregated with static or LACP link aggregation for resiliency and up to 5Gbps of uplink capacity. Power comes from 802.3at PoE+ or an optional AC adapter.
Flexible Management and Access Control
Manage APs centrally with AWC in Vista Manager EX or from a compatible Allied Telesis switch or firewall, or run a single AP standalone through its web GUI. Captive portal, multiple SSIDs on virtual APs, Passpoint, WPA3 and fast roaming (802.11k/v/r) are supported.

How is the TQ6602 GEN2 powered?
By IEEE 802.3at PoE+ on its PoE-in port (16.9W maximum), or by the optional AT-PWRADP-01 AC adapter.
Do I need a controller?
No. It can run standalone via its web GUI. For centralised management use AWC in Vista Manager EX or on a compatible Allied Telesis switch or firewall.
Are Channel Blanket and Smart Connect included free?
No. Both require an AWC-CB licence together with an AWC licence. Basic AWC manages 5 APs free on supported switches and the AR4050S.
Is the -00 version approved for Singapore?
Yes. The datasheet lists IMDA certification for Singapore, with firmware release 8.0.2-1.1 or later.
