48 Gigabit Ports with Four 10G Uplinks
The CentreCOM GS980MX/52 packs 48 10/100/1000T copper ports and four 1/10G SFP+ uplinks into a 1RU chassis, with 176Gbps of switching capacity for wirespeed forwarding across every port.
Stack Up to Four Switches
VCStack lets up to four GS980MX switches be managed as a single unit, and any port can be used for stacking. VCStack LD extends the stack over fibre for distributed sites.
Layer 3 Lite with Enterprise-Class Software
Running AlliedWare Plus, the switch adds static routing and RIP for IPv4 plus static IPv6 routing to a full Layer 2 feature set, with EPSRing transit-node support for fast-recovering ring networks.
Managed by AMF Plus
As an AMF Plus edge node, the GS980MX/52 can be centrally managed, backed up and upgraded automatically, and monitored graphically in Vista Manager EX.
