PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Allied Telesis GS910/16 16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch - Local Warranty

Plug-and-Play Gigabit Connectivity

The CentreCOM GS910/16 provides 16 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000T RJ-45 ports with Auto MDI/MDI-X, so it connects to existing infrastructure with little or no setup.

Wire-Speed, Non-Blocking Switching

A 32 Gbps switching capacity and 23.8 Mpps throughput let every port run at full Gigabit speed for bandwidth-hungry traffic such as video and large file transfers.

Loop Guard Protection

Loop Detection Frames spot accidental network loops and shut the affected port to prevent broadcast storms, then recover the port automatically once the loop is removed.

Silent, Eco-Friendly Design

A fanless metal case with an internal power supply runs silently, while link-down power saving, cable length detection and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet cut power use.

Frequently Asked Questions — Allied Telesis GS910/16

Does the GS910/16 need configuration?

No. It is an unmanaged switch: connect power and cables and it works, with auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X on every port.

Is it noisy?

No. The switch is fanless and runs silently.

What happens if someone creates a network loop?

Loop guard detects the loop, shuts down the affected port to stop a broadcast storm, and re-enables the port automatically once the loop is cleared.

Does it support PoE or VLANs?

No. The GS910 Series is unmanaged and does not supply PoE. For VLANs and PoE+ see the GS950 V2 Series.

What warranty do I get?

Supplied by SourceIT with local warranty and a GST invoice.
