5 Business Headsets Worth Considering Instead of AirPods for Microsoft Teams
AirPods are excellent for music and phone calls, but they are not certified for Microsoft Teams, they connect to a PC through its built-in Bluetooth, and Microsoft says mute status sync from Teams to the device works only with Teams-certified peripherals. If Teams is your working day, these five dedicated UC headsets do the job better, at SourceIT's prices on 25 Oct 2026: the HP Poly Voyager Free 60+ (S$355.84), Jabra Evolve2 Buds (S$355.00), Logitech Zone True Wireless (S$395.00), Yealink BH71 Pro (S$200.00) and EPOS ADAPT 360 (S$200.00). For reference, Apple Singapore lists AirPods Pro 3 at S$349 and AirPods 5 from S$199.

Why not just use AirPods for Teams?
You can, and many people do. AirPods Pro 3 have strong ANC and Apple's Voice Isolation for calls. But Apple products are not on Microsoft's list of certified Teams peripherals, so you lose the things certification guarantees: tested call controls, a Teams button, and mute that stays in sync between Teams and the earbuds. On a Windows PC, AirPods also rely on the laptop's built-in Bluetooth, which is shared with your mouse and keyboard and typically drops to a lower-quality hands-free profile when the microphone is on. Every alternative here ships with a dedicated USB adapter for the PC. The certification question is covered in Microsoft Teams Certified vs Regular Bluetooth Headsets.
AirPods are made for your phone. UC earbuds are made for your phone and your Teams calls.
1. HP Poly Voyager Free 60+: the most features
The HP Poly Voyager Free 60+ MS has three microphones per earbud with WindSmart and Poly's NoiseBlockAI, adjustable hybrid adaptive ANC, and a touchscreen charging case with call and mute controls. The case also has a 3.5 mm input, so you can stream in-flight audio to the earbuds. It charges on Qi pads and comes with HP's two-year limited warranty. See the Voyager Free 60 collection.
2. Jabra Evolve2 Buds: the most rugged
The Jabra Evolve2 Buds MS combine four MEMS microphones with two bone-conduction sensors, which Jabra calls MultiSensor Voice, to pick up your voice through the jaw as well as the air. They have ANC and HearThrough, an IP57 rating, and up to 33 hours with the case. The version with wireless charging pad is S$395.00.
3. Logitech Zone True Wireless: the best for mixed platforms
The Logitech Zone True Wireless earbuds carry Teams, Zoom and Google Meet certification, with six microphones including bone-conduction sensors and hybrid ANC. They suit organisations that use more than one meeting platform. Browse the Logitech Zone series.
4. Yealink BH71 Pro: for people on the move
The Yealink BH71 Pro is a single-ear earhook headset, not an earbud. It leaves one ear open, which suits sales staff, site supervisors and receptionists. Four beamforming microphones handle your voice, and the charging case adds about 20 hours to the 10-hour talk time. Yealink describes it as UC certified. A full comparison of Yealink's Bluetooth range is in Yealink BH70 vs BH71 vs BH74 vs BH78.
5. EPOS ADAPT 360: for long days
If earbuds hurt after a few hours, the EPOS ADAPT 360 is a boomless headband headset with feedback ANC that EPOS rates at up to 30 dB and up to 28 hours of talk time with ANC on. It is Microsoft Teams certified and comes with a BTD 800 USB-A dongle. At 238 g it is heavier than earbuds, but far easier to wear all day. See the EPOS range.
Which should you choose?
- Closest AirPods replacement with business features: Poly Voyager Free 60+ or Jabra Evolve2 Buds.
- Teams, Zoom and Meet in one company: Logitech Zone True Wireless.
- Always on the move, one ear open: Yealink BH71 Pro.
- Calls all day: any of these earbuds will need charging by the afternoon; for 8-hour call days, a headset such as the EPOS ADAPT 360 or the options in On-Ear vs Over-Ear Headsets is the better tool.
