Essential Online Double-Conversion Protection
The Vertiv™ Liebert® GXE GXE3-3000IRT2UXL is a 3000 VA / 2700 W online double-conversion UPS in a 2U rack/tower chassis. The inverter supplies the load continuously with a regulated pure sine wave, so servers, switches and storage are isolated from sags, surges and frequency drift on the mains, and there is no transfer break when the utility fails.
Output power factor is 0.9, so plan on 2700 W of real load. Vertiv rates online efficiency at up to 91% and ECO-mode efficiency at up to 96%.
Rack or Tower, Ready to Install
Vertiv positions the GXE as an essential, affordable online UPS for edge IT, small server rooms, network closets and branch offices. The same unit stands as a tower or mounts in a 19-inch rack — Vertiv includes an adjustable 4-post rack mounting kit with the rack/tower models — and the LCD shows status, load and battery level for easy set-up.
Extendable Runtime and Hot-Swap Batteries
Vertiv publishes 3.3 min at full load and 9.5 min at half load on the internal VRLA batteries. Add up to four GXE3-EBC72VRT2U external battery cabinets for up to 155 min at half load. Batteries recharge to 90% in under 4 hours and are hot-swappable and user-replaceable.
Remote Management
A USB port (HID compliant) is standard for shutdown software, with an IntelliSlot bay for optional IS-UNITY-SNMP, IS-UNITY-DP or IS-RELAY cards for web/SNMP monitoring, BMS integration or contact-closure signalling. An EPO port and automatic internal bypass are built in.

What It Is Suited To
Entry servers, NAS and storage, network switches, firewalls, VoIP and CCTV recorders. Keep your continuous load under 2700 W with some headroom; the 0.9 power factor means the watt rating, not the VA figure, is the limit.
Input and Outlets
The UPS connects through an IEC 60320 C20 inlet and delivers power on 8 x IEC C13 + 1 x IEC C19. Equipment with BS 1363 (Type G) plugs needs IEC leads or an IEC-input power strip; ask us to quote one.
Monitoring and Shutdown
USB works with Vertiv shutdown software on Windows, Linux and macOS. For web/SNMP monitoring add an IS-UNITY-SNMP card, or the IS-UNITY-DP (03020728) card for Modbus/BACnet and environmental sensors — SourceIT supplies both.
