TP-Link AX7800 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System, 2-Pack (Deco X95) - 3 Years Local Warranty
Two Deco X95 units on one Wi-Fi 6 network, with a second 5 GHz radio available to carry the link between them. Each node publishes 4804 Mbps on 5 GHz (1), 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz (2) and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with Smart Antennas and a 2.5 Gbps port. TP-Link rates the pair for 4-6+ bedroom houses, up to 6,100 sq ft and up to 200 connected devices.†
A Dedicated Radio for the Link Between Nodes
This is what tri-band buys on a two-node system. The 2402 Mbps 5 GHz radio can carry backhaul while the 4804 Mbps radio and the 2.4 GHz band stay available to your devices - so the second node extends coverage without halving throughput the way a dual-band mesh does on a wireless hop. Further Deco units can be added later; tell us which models you already run and we will confirm the mix.
Smart Antennas and AI-Driven Mesh
TP-Link publishes four high-gain internal antennas and two Smart Antennas per unit, with Beamforming and AI-Driven Mesh that learns the network environment. Both units run IEEE 802.11ax/ac/n/a on the two 5 GHz radios and 802.11ax/n/b/g on 2.4 GHz, and TP-Link rates WiFi capacity Very High on Tri-Band, 4x4 MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 8 Streams. HE160 is published on the top 5 GHz radio, subject to client support and regional channel rules.
Three Ports on Every Unit
TP-Link publishes the port count per Deco unit: one 2.5 Gbps port plus two Gigabit ports on each node, all WAN/LAN auto-sensing. On the node carrying the incoming service one port becomes the WAN; the rest can feed wired devices in that room, or carry a wired backhaul hop where a cable run exists between the two rooms.
Published Software and Security
HomeShield covers network security, parental controls and QoS by device, with SPI firewall, access control and WPA3-Personal encryption. Router Mode and Access Point Mode are both published, so the pair can sit behind an ISP gateway that cannot be replaced. Both nodes are managed as one network from the Deco app, and an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled device can control the Deco X95 by voice.
Ideal For
Singapore houses and 4-6 bedroom homes on a 1 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps plan, where a wireless hop must not cost half the speed. The 2-pack ships two power adapters and one RJ45 Ethernet cable; ask us if you need a second cable supplied with the order and we will add it. Will two units cover my home?
TP-Link rates the 2-pack for 4-6+ bedroom houses and up to 6,100 sq ft. Send us your floor area, storeys and wall construction and we will confirm before you order.
Is the X95 a Wi-Fi 6E model?
No. Tri-band on the X95 means two separate 5 GHz radios plus 2.4 GHz. There is no 6 GHz band; the Deco XE75 range is the Wi-Fi 6E line.
Why does the second 5 GHz radio matter?
It can carry the wireless link between the two nodes, leaving the faster 5 GHz radio and the 2.4 GHz band free for your devices. A dual-band mesh has to share one band for both jobs.
Can I wire the link between the units instead?
Yes. All ports are WAN/LAN auto-sensing, so a cable run between the two rooms can carry the backhaul and free the radio entirely. The box includes one RJ45 Ethernet cable; ask us for a second if you need it.
