TP-Link Deco X50 Pro AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 System (1-Pack)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 System, 1-Pack (Deco X50 Pro) - 3 Years Local Warranty
Dual-band AX3000 mesh with two 2.5 Gbps ports on every unit, supplied as 1 unit. 5 GHz runs at 2402 Mbps and 2.4 GHz at 574 Mbps, and TP-Link publishes coverage of 2,500 sq ft for this pack size. Faster ports, rather than more of them, are what separate the Pro from the standard Deco X50.
Two 2.5 Gbps Ports per Unit
The Pro trades port count for port speed: two 2.5 Gbps ports per unit in place of the standard Deco X50's three gigabit ports. Both are WAN/LAN auto-sensing, so the same port type takes a 2 Gbps fibre service or carries a wired backhaul hop to another Deco. TP-Link notes that only one port can act as WAN at a time.
AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6
5 GHz delivers 2402 Mbps using 802.11ax with HE160, and 2.4 GHz adds 574 Mbps for range and for older devices. OFDMA and 2x2 MU-MIMO let the radio serve several clients within the same airtime rather than queueing them, which is what keeps a busy household responsive. TP-Link notes that HE160 and the other Wi-Fi 6 features need client devices that support them.
Coverage Tied to Pack Size
TP-Link publishes coverage per pack for this model: 2,500 sq ft for a 1-pack, 4,500 sq ft for a 2-pack and 6,500 sq ft for a 3-pack. Real coverage still depends on walls, layout and interference.
Wired or Wireless Backhaul
Nodes can link over Wi-Fi or over Ethernet. Where a flat already has structured cabling, running the backhaul over cable frees the 5 GHz radio for clients instead of spending it on node-to-node traffic - and with 2.5 Gbps ports at both ends the wired hop is not the bottleneck.
HomeShield on the Free Basic Plan
SPI firewall, access control, real-time IoT protection, malicious site blocking, intrusion prevention, DDoS prevention and a home network scanner, plus per-profile parental controls and QoS by device. TP-Link includes the Basic plan at no charge and prices the Pro tier separately.
Ideal For
Singapore homes on a 2 Gbps fibre plan that need multi-gigabit wired ports at more than one point in the house - a single unit suits an apartment, or adds a Pro node to an existing Deco network. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Taken from TP-Link's own Singapore product page for the Deco X50 Pro. Only the CE transmit-power figures are published above. The FCC figures printed on the same global page do not apply to Singapore-market units. TP-Link publishes no VPN server or client row, no beamforming row and no USB, processor, memory, weight, power-adapter or system-requirements figure for this model. TP-Link does not tie its device-count figure to a pack size, so none is quoted here.
Compatibility & Software Support
Set up and managed through the Deco app. TP-Link publishes no minimum Android or iOS version for the X50 Pro, so none is stated here. HomeShield is included on the free Basic plan, with a paid Pro tier.
Router mode and Access Point mode are both published, with IPv4 and IPv6, and Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP or L2TP on the WAN. No VPN server or client row is published for this model. If you need a Deco that runs a VPN server, ask us and we will point you at one where TP-Link publishes it.
Wi-Fi 6 features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM and HE160 need client support as well, and TP-Link notes that the 160 MHz channel may be unavailable on 5 GHz in some countries under local regulation. Seamless roaming needs clients supporting 802.11k/v/r.

Frequently Asked Questions - Deco X50 Pro (1-Pack)
How is the X50 Pro different from the Deco X50?
Ports. The Pro carries two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports and three internal antennas per unit; the standard X50 carries three gigabit ports. The Wi-Fi rating is AX3000 on both.
Does it run a VPN server?
TP-Link publishes no VPN server or client row for the X50 Pro. Ask us if a VPN server is a requirement.
What area does this pack cover?
TP-Link publishes 2,500 sq ft (1-pack) for this pack size. Coverage in practice depends on wall construction, layout and neighbouring networks.
Can I mix it with other Deco models?
Send us the models you already run and we will check TP-Link's published compatibility before you order.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
3 years local replacement warranty. Deco mesh systems fall under TP-Link Singapore's published 3-year default.
