TP-Link Deco X80 AX6000 Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System (3-Pack)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX6000 Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System, 3-Pack (Deco X80) - 3 Years Local Warranty
Three Deco X80 units on one Wi-Fi 6 network. Each node publishes 4804 Mbps on 5 GHz and 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with four high-gain internal antennas, one 2.5 Gbps port and two Gigabit ports per unit. TP-Link rates the 3-pack for 4-7+ Bedroom Houses, up to 7,200 sq ft of coverage and connections for up to 200 devices†.
AX6000 on Two Bands
The X80 puts its whole AX6000 budget into two radios rather than three, so 2.4 GHz gets 1148 Mbps and 5 GHz runs at 4804 Mbps with HE160. Each unit runs IEEE 802.11ax/ac/n/a on 5 GHz and IEEE 802.11ax/n/b/g on 2.4 GHz. TP-Link rates WiFi capacity Very High, with Dual-Band, 4x4 MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 8 Streams, and four high-gain internal antennas form a signal-boosting array to cover more directions and large areas.
Three Nodes: Wire What You Can
On a dual-band mesh every wireless hop shares a band with your devices, and a three-node system has two hops. Each X80 carries one 2.5 Gbps port and two Gigabit ports, all WAN/LAN auto-sensing, so any hop with a cable run available should use it. Wired and wireless hops can be mixed in the same system without any change to how clients roam.
Three Ethernet Ports on Every Unit
Each of the three units carries one 2.5 Gbps port and two Gigabit ports, so wired capacity is distributed around the property rather than concentrated at the gateway§. One port takes the incoming service; the rest can feed a NAS, a desktop, a games console or a wired access point wherever a node happens to sit. Only one port can serve as the WAN port at a time.
Published Software and Security
HomeShield* covers network security, parental controls and QoS by device, with SPI firewall, access control and WPA3-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA-Personal encryption. HomeShield Security adds real-time IoT protection, a malicious site blocker, an intrusion prevention system, DDoS attack prevention and a home network scanner. Guest networks run on both bands, IPv4 and IPv6 are supported, and IPTV covers IGMP proxy and snooping, bridge and tag VLAN. Use an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled device to control Deco X80 with just your voice. TP-Link publishes no VPN server or client for the Deco X80; if a router-level VPN matters, tell us and we will point you at a Deco that publishes one.
Ideal For
Larger Singapore 4-7+ Bedroom Houses on a 1 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps plan, especially where older 2.4 GHz devices matter and a 6 GHz band would go unused. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

† Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and quantity of connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location.
‡ Clients need to support 802.11k/v/r and may require additional setup. Performance may vary depending on the client device.
△ Use of Wi-Fi 6 and other features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, and BSS Color require clients to also support the corresponding features. The 160 MHz bandwidth may be unavailable in the 5 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions.
§ 2.5 Gbps internet speeds require compatible service plans and equipment. All WAN/LAN ports will operate as either WAN or LAN ports. Only one port can serve as a WAN port at a time.
* HomeShield includes the Free Basic Plan. Fees apply for the Pro Plan. Visit tp-link.com/homeshield for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions - Deco X80 (3-Pack)
Do I need three units?
TP-Link rates the 3-pack for 4-7+ Bedroom Houses and up to 7,200 sq ft†. Send us your floor area, storeys and wall construction and we will advise whether the 2-pack would do.
Dual-band at AX6000 - what is the trade-off?
Without a third radio, every wireless hop shares a band with your devices, and three nodes mean two hops. In exchange, 2.4 GHz gets 1148 Mbps, which suits homes with many older or IoT devices.
Can some hops be wired and others wireless?
Yes. Every port on every unit is WAN/LAN auto-sensing, so one link can run over a cable while the other runs over the air.
Does it have a VPN server?
TP-Link publishes no VPN server or client for the Deco X80. If a router-level VPN matters, tell us and we will point you at a Deco that publishes one.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty, per TP-Link's replacement warranty policy, with a GST invoice on every unit.
