Frequently Asked Questions — Jabra PanaCast 50 Room System
Q: What is included in the PanaCast 50 Room System bundle?
A: A complete one-box meeting room: the Jabra PanaCast 50 Panoramic-4K video bar plus the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core compute (Intel Core i5 vPro, Windows 10 IoT) and ThinkSmart Controller touch console — everything needed to deploy a certified room without a separate PC.
Q: What is the difference between the Microsoft Teams Rooms version and the other Room System variants?
A: The hardware is identical — the difference is the licensed room platform it ships configured for (Microsoft Teams Rooms on this SKU). Choose 8601-337 for Microsoft Teams Rooms, 8601-437 for Zoom Rooms, or 8601-500 for UC with Tencent controller.
Q: How is the Room System different from the PanaCast 50 Video Bar System (VBS)?
A: The Room System pairs the PanaCast 50 USB bar with Windows-based Lenovo ThinkSmart compute, while the Video Bar System has Android compute built directly into the bar. Choose the Room System for Windows-based Teams Rooms deployments; choose VBS for the simplest all-in-one installation.
Q: What room size does this system suit?
A: Medium meeting rooms — the 8-microphone beamforming array is certified for rooms up to 4.5 m x 6 m. The 180° Panoramic-4K camera captures everyone, even participants seated close to the screen.
Q: Does this system need a separate meeting room PC?
A: No. The included Lenovo ThinkSmart Core is the room PC — a compact Intel Core i5 vPro unit running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, purpose-built for meeting rooms and managed like any other Windows endpoint.
Q: Does the PanaCast 50 Room System come with warranty in Singapore?
A: Yes. Every PanaCast 50 Room System sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
