The HPE StoreEasy 1470 32TB SATA Performance Storage with Microsoft Windows Server IoT 2022 (S2A21A) is a pre-configured HPE StoreEasy 1470 NAS built on the HPE ProLiant DL320 Gen11 platform, with 32TB of SATA capacity installed and Microsoft Windows Server IoT 2022 for Storage pre-loaded and activated.
SMB, NFS and iSCSI from one box
Serve Windows, macOS and Linux clients over SMB 3.1.1 and NFS v4.1, present iSCSI targets to application servers, and use built-in deduplication, DFS Replication and Azure File Sync without extra licences.
Simple to run, easy to protect

Do I need Windows client licences?
No. Windows Server IoT 2022 for Storage includes unlimited client access for file services; only additional Hyper-V virtual machines need their own Windows licences.
Can I add capacity later?
The 1470 has four LFF bays, all populated in this model. For more capacity, attach an HPE MSA array or HPE D3x10 enclosure through an HPE Smart Array E208e-p controller, or step up to the 12-bay HPE StoreEasy 1670.
Is this model still current?
