Ergotron SV44 Primary Double Tall Drawer for LCD carts
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Ergotron SV44 Primary Double Tall Drawer for LCD carts (97-977) - Local Warranty
Converts a Cart Without Drawers Into One With Two Drawers
Ergotron's description of this assembly is "Upgrade a non-drawer powered cart for medication delivery with this drawer assembly." The Double Tall configuration gives two medium drawers side by side in a single drawer row, mounted to the cart column so the cart itself does not have to be replaced.
Two Medium Compartments Across One Module
Ergotron's double configuration divides the same module width into two medium drawers side by side — not two stacked drawers, and not one double-width drawer. It is the middle option between the Single's one large area and the Triple's three small ones, and it is usually the right compromise for a mixed medication round.
"Tall" Means a Deeper Drawer Row, and Fewer Rows Overall
Ergotron's SV43 documentation states the cart can be fitted with up to three rows of tall drawers, against up to five rows of standard-height drawers. So a tall row buys depth for bulkier items and costs you row count. Ergotron does not publish the actual tall-versus-standard height in millimetres — ask us and we will request it before you commit to a configuration.

Compatibility & Fit
What the configuration name means. Ergotron's single, double and triple describe how many drawers sit side by side within one module, not how many are stacked: single gives one large area, double gives two medium drawers, triple gives three small ones, all in the same module width. "Tall" changes the height of the row rather than the number of drawers — Ergotron documents up to three tall rows against up to five standard rows on an SV43.
Primary versus supplemental. This is a primary module: Ergotron describes it as upgrading a cart that has no drawers. Supplemental drawers then hang beneath it to add capacity. If your cart already has a drawer module and you simply want more storage under it, you need a supplemental drawer instead — not this part.
LCD cart or laptop cart — order by the right one. Ergotron sells this drawer in two part numbers, one for LCD carts and one for laptop carts, and publishes no explanation of what differs between them: their descriptions are identical word for word. The split exists only on primary drawers, which mount to the cart column, so the difference is most likely in that column interface — but Ergotron does not say so, and we will not state it as fact. What we will say plainly is: order the part number matching your cart type, and if you are unsure which you have, send us the cart part number and we will check.
Powered cart, cart-level locking. The SV44 accommodates up to five single-height drawers and uses an auto-locking drawer system with PIN administration through eKinnex. The locking is a property of the cart, not of this drawer module — so do not specify this part expecting it to bring a lock with it.
What Ergotron does not publish. No drawer dimensions, no weight capacity, no materials, no colour and no box contents for any part number in this matrix — we checked all 35. We would rather show you that gap than fill it from a distributor sheet. If a dimension or a load figure decides your configuration, ask us and we will get it from Ergotron before you order.
Package Contents & StyleView SV44 Ordering Information
Ergotron publishes no box-contents list for this drawer. It ships as the drawer module with the hardware to mount it to the cart.
Retrofit note: Ergotron states that drawers can be added or removed as needs change, and warns that adding drawers may reduce the cart's total height adjustment. Plan the final drawer count before installation rather than after.

Frequently Asked Questions — Ergotron SV44 Primary Double Tall Drawer for LCD carts
What does "Double Tall" mean on this drawer?
Double means two medium drawers side by side in one module — not two stacked, and not one double-width drawer. Tall refers to the height of the drawer row: Ergotron documents up to three tall rows against up to five standard rows on an SV43, so tall rows give depth and cost row count.
Is this a primary or a supplemental drawer?
A primary module. Ergotron describes it as upgrading a cart that has no drawers, and supplemental drawers then attach beneath it.
Why are there separate LCD-cart and laptop-cart part numbers?
Ergotron sells both but publishes no explanation of the difference — the two product descriptions are word for word identical. Order the part number matching your cart type. If you are not certain which you have, send us the cart's part number and we will check before the order goes through.
Does this drawer lock?
The locking belongs to the cart, not to the drawer module. SV43 and SV44 carts use an auto-locking drawer system with PIN access — SV43 via StyleLink (up to 1,000 users with the software, 100 without) and SV44 via eKinnex — with an interlock that allows only one drawer open at a time and re-locks after 15 seconds. Ergotron publishes no key or key count for any drawer in this range.
What are the drawer's internal dimensions and how much will it hold?
Ergotron publishes neither, for any part number in this 35-SKU matrix. If your configuration depends on a dimension or a load figure, ask us and we will request it from Ergotron rather than quote a distributor's number.
Can I add this to a cart already in service?
Yes — retrofit is the stated purpose. Ergotron notes that drawers can be added or removed as needs change, and warns that adding drawers may reduce the cart's total height adjustment.
How many drawer rows can the cart take?
Ergotron states the SV44 accommodates up to five single-height drawers.
Does it come with a warranty in Singapore?
Yes. Every Ergotron SV44 Primary Double Tall Drawer for LCD carts sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice. Ergotron's warranty schedule has no category covering drawer modules themselves — it gives 1 year on cart electronic components such as auto-lock drawers and auto-lock systems, under StyleView Carts — so we do not quote a manufacturer duration for the drawer on this page; ask us and we will confirm the current term with Ergotron for your order.
