The Eaton Rack PDU G4 EVMIF132A is a Metered Input 0U (vertical) rack PDU. It takes a single-phase 32A feed through an IEC 60309 32A single-phase plug on a 3 m cord, distributes up to 7.4 kW to 24 outlets (12 x IEC C13 + 12 x IEC C39), and measures the whole PDU's input with 1% IEC Class 1 billing-grade accuracy, as published by Eaton.
For a Singapore server room, enterprise comms room or colocation rack, that means you can check real load against the feed rating before adding equipment, spot rising consumption early, and report energy per rack with numbers you can bill against.
Gigabit Networking, Modern Protocols and Cybersecurity
Eaton fits the G4 Metered Input range with a gigabit network card with 2 x Gb ports, supporting RestAPI, Modbus TCP, SNMP, LDAP and HTTPS. Up to 32 PDUs can be cascaded, and the network control module is hot-swappable. Eaton also lists power sharing between two network modules. An optional temperature/humidity sensor can be added.
Eaton lists compliance with the UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards — useful where IT security teams audit every networked device in the data centre.
C39 Outlets That Take Either C14 or C20 Plugs
Eaton describes the C39 outlet as versatile: it accepts either a C14 or a C20 power cord plug. With 12 C39 outlets alongside 12 C13 outlets, you can mix standard servers and switches with higher-power C20-corded equipment without re-planning the rack. Eaton also specifies high-retention outlets to help keep cords seated.
Rated for Hot Aisles: 0–60 °C Operation
Eaton rates the Rack PDU G4 for operation from 0 °C to 60 °C, which gives margin at the back of a densely packed rack where exhaust air collects. The chassis is aluminium, finished in black.

What It Is Suited To
The EVMIF132A suits IT equipment with IEC C14 or C20 power cords — rack servers, storage arrays, switches, routers and firewalls. Keep the total connected load within 7.4 kW and within the rating of the circuit that feeds the PDU.
Monitoring and Integration
Manage the PDU from a web browser over HTTPS, or bring it into an existing NMS, BMS or DCIM platform over SNMP, Modbus TCP or the RestAPI. LDAP support allows central user authentication. Metering is for the whole PDU; for per-outlet control, ask us about Rack PDU G4 Switched and Managed models.
Input Plug and Supply
The input is an IEC 60309 32A single-phase plug on a 3 m cord. Your rack feed needs the matching IEC 60309 socket, installed by a licensed electrician; a standard BS 1363 wall socket cannot feed this PDU.
