The Eaton Rack PDU G4 EVBAFC20A is a Basic 0U (vertical) rack PDU that takes a single-phase 16A feed through an IEC C20 inlet on a 3 m cord and distributes up to 3.7 kW to 24 outlets: 12 x IEC C13 + 12 x IEC C39. There is no network or metering to configure — it is straightforward, reliable power distribution for servers, storage and network equipment.
It mounts vertically in the rear side channel of the rack, keeping rack units free for equipment — a good fit for Singapore server rooms, comms cabinets and colocation racks where every U counts.
C39 Outlets That Take Either C14 or C20 Plugs
Eaton describes the C39 outlet as versatile: it accepts either a C14 or a C20 power cord plug. With 12 C39 outlets alongside 12 C13 outlets, you can mix standard servers and switches with higher-power C20-corded equipment without re-planning the rack. Eaton also specifies high-retention outlets to help keep cords seated, and colour-coded outlet banks for easier load balancing.
Rated for Hot Aisles: 0–60 °C Operation
Eaton rates the Rack PDU G4 for operation from 0 °C to 60 °C, which gives margin at the back of a densely packed rack where exhaust air collects. The chassis is aluminium, finished in black.

What It Is Suited To
The EVBAFC20A suits IT equipment with IEC C14 or C20 power cords — rack servers, storage arrays, switches, routers and firewalls. Keep the total connected load within 3.7 kW and within the rating of the circuit that feeds the PDU.
Monitoring
This is a Basic model: no metering, no network port and no outlet switching. If you need to see load remotely or report energy use, choose a Rack PDU G4 Metered Input model; for remote outlet on/off, ask us about Switched and Managed models.
Input and Supply
The input is an IEC C20 inlet with a 3 m cord, so it can be fed from a UPS C19 outlet or an upstream PDU. It does not take a BS 1363 (Type G) wall plug.
