Outlet-Level Monitoring and Remote Outlet Control
The Eaton EHMAL620N is a Managed horizontal rack PDU from Eaton's Rack PDU G4 range. It mounts in 1U of a standard 19-inch rack and feeds 8 outlets (4 x IEC C13 + 4 x IEC C39). Eaton describes Managed models as giving outlet-level monitoring and outlet-level control, so you can see what each device draws and switch or reboot individual outlets remotely.
For a Singapore server room, colocation cage or branch rack, that means power-cycling a hung server or switch without a site visit, and spotting overloaded circuits before they trip.
Compact 1U Horizontal Format
At 1U, this PDU fits where a vertical 0U strip will not — shallow network cabinets, wall-mount racks and open frames. Eaton lists the input as C20 / L6-20P on a 10 ft cord, rated 230 V 16 A (derated) for up to 3.7 kW.
Secure Gigabit Networking
Eaton's Rack PDU G4 range brochure lists gigabit Ethernet, a hot-swappable G4 network module, network cascading of up to 32 PDUs through one Ethernet port, and secure remote access via web browser, SNMP or MQTT plus a RESTful API. Security features include a zero-trust architecture with hardware root of trust and secure boot, a user-configurable firewall with IP whitelisting, and zero-touch provisioning; firmware updates are free without a support contract.
C39 Outlets That Take C14 or C20 Plugs
Eaton's C39 outlet accepts either a C14 or a C20 plug, so you can mix standard servers and switches with higher-power C20-corded equipment. The range is also compatible with P-Lock and P-Lock Lite locking cords.

What It Is Suited To
The EHMAL620N suits IT equipment with IEC C14 or C20 power cords — rack servers, storage, switches, routers and firewalls — in racks where a horizontal PDU is preferred. Keep the total connected load within the PDU's rating and the rating of the circuit that feeds it.
Monitoring and Integration
Manage the PDU from a web browser, or bring it into an existing NMS, BMS or DCIM platform over SNMP, MQTT or the RESTful API. Outlets can be monitored and switched individually.
Input Plug and Supply
Eaton lists the input as C20 / L6-20P on a 10 ft cord, 230 V, 16 A. An L6-20P is a North American NEMA locking plug, and a standard BS 1363 wall socket cannot feed this PDU — please confirm your rack feed with SourceIT before ordering so we can advise the right connection.
