The Eaton 3P Ellipse 3P700UI is a 700 VA / 420 W offline (standby) UPS in a slim 81 mm-wide case, built for the short outages and surges that interrupt PCs, routers, NAS drives, POS terminals and CCTV recorders in Singapore homes, shops and small offices. When the mains fails it switches to battery so you can keep working or save and shut down cleanly.
Eaton positions the 3P Ellipse as the successor to the Ellipse ECO, with up to 12% more power than the previous Ellipse ECO models.
4 IEC C13 Outlets: 3 on Battery, 1 Surge-Only
3 outlets are backed by battery and surge protection for the equipment that must stay on; 1 more is surge-protected only, for printers, speakers or chargers that do not need backup. Built-in surge protection meets IEC 61643-11, and a 10 A resettable circuit breaker protects the input.
USB Charging Ports and Automatic Shutdown
Two USB charging ports (Type A and Type C) keep a phone or tablet topped up from the same unit. A separate HID-compliant USB communication port works with Eaton UPS Companion software for automatic, unattended shutdown.
Silent, Fanless and Flexible to Place
Eaton rates the 3P Ellipse below 25 dB with no-fan engineering, so it can sit on or under a desk. Optional Eaton wall-mounting and 19-inch (2U) rack-mounting kits are available, and the slot accepts Eaton's optional CLOUD-PS card for cloud monitoring.

Compatibility & Software Support
What It Is Suited To
The 3P700UI is sized for desktop PCs and monitors, home and small-office network gear, NAS units, POS terminals and CCTV recorders. Keep the total continuous load on the battery outlets under 420 W; the watt figure, not the VA figure, is the limit.
Operating Systems and Software
The USB communication port is HID-compliant, so most operating systems see the UPS as a power source without extra drivers. Eaton UPS Companion (free from eaton.com) adds automatic shutdown and monitoring.
Outlets
All outlets are IEC C13. Equipment with BS 1363 (Type G) plugs needs an IEC C14 lead or an IEC-input power strip; two IEC-IEC cables are included.
