Can I upgrade the memory?
Yes. The Latitude 5540 has two DDR4 SODIMM slots. This configuration ships with one 16GB module, so a second module can be added for dual-channel memory (which also enables Intel Iris Xe Graphics), up to 64GB (2 x 32GB) in total.
Does it have an Ethernet port or SD card reader?
It has a built-in RJ45 Ethernet port and a microSD-card slot, plus two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports and HDMI 2.0.
Does it support Windows Hello?
Yes, with both the FHD IR camera (face sign-in) and the fingerprint reader in the power button. A smart card reader and NFC are also fitted.
Is the Core i7-1355U a vPro processor?
No. Dell lists the Core i7-1355U without vPro; vPro options on the Latitude 5540 are the Core i5-1345U, i5-1350P, i7-1365U and i7-1370P.
