Layer 2 access switching for branch and campus
The Cisco Meraki MS150-24T-4G is a member of the MS150 stackable switch family, which Cisco Meraki positions for Layer 2 access switching in branch and campus deployments. It provides 24 x 1GbE RJ45 ports and four 1GbE SFP uplinks in a 1U rack-mount chassis.
Dedicated 80 Gbps stacking
Two dedicated stack ports provide 80 Gbps of stacking bandwidth. Cisco states the MS150 scales up to 8 stackable switches, managed as one logical switch. Stacking cables (MA-CBL-100G-50CM, -1M or -3M) are ordered separately.
Managed from the Cisco Meraki dashboard
Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting run from the cloud-based Meraki dashboard, with zero-touch provisioning, automatic firmware upgrades, remote packet capture and cable testing, plus SNMP and Syslog integration.
Built-in access security
802.1X authentication, DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection, IPv4/IPv6 ACLs and broadcast storm control are supported. The Advanced licence tier adds Adaptive Policy segmentation.

Compatibility & Software Support
Management
The MS150-24T-4G is managed exclusively through the Cisco Meraki dashboard. Switches are claimed into a Meraki organisation, added to a network and configured remotely; firmware updates are delivered automatically with scheduling control.
Meraki licence required (sold separately)
Every Cisco Meraki hardware device requires a Meraki cloud licence to be managed, and Meraki sells licences and hardware separately — no licence is included with this switch. Meraki states that without a valid licence the equipment can no longer be configured or changed and stops passing traffic to the internet. MS150 24-port licences come in Enterprise (LIC-MS150-24-xY) and Advanced (LIC-MS150-24A-xY) tiers, in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10-year terms; the Advanced tier adds Adaptive Policy. Supported optics
1GbE SFP uplinks support Meraki MA-SFP-1GB-SX, MA-SFP-1GB-LX10 and MA-SFP-1GB-TX modules.
Warranty
Sold by SourceIT as a Singapore unit. Cisco states a lifetime warranty for MS150 Series switches (accessories such as SFP modules, stacking cables and power cords carry a 1-year warranty) in its MS150 Series Installation Guide. Keep your SourceIT invoice as proof of purchase for warranty claims.

Does the MS150-24T-4G need a licence?
Yes. Every Meraki device needs a Meraki cloud licence to be managed, and licences are sold separately. Choose an MS150 24-port Enterprise or Advanced licence.
Does the MS150-24T-4G provide PoE?
No. It is a data-only model. The MS150-24P / LP / FP versions add PoE.
Can MS150 switches be stacked?
Yes. Two dedicated stack ports give 80 Gbps stacking bandwidth, and Cisco states up to 8 switches per stack. Stacking cables are sold separately.
Is a power cord included?
