StackPower Cable, 1.5 m
The Cisco CAB-SPWR-150CM= is the 1.5 m spare Cisco StackPower cable. StackPower is Cisco's power interconnect system that lets the power supplies in a stack be shared as a common resource among all member switches, so that a switch can draw on power available from other switches in the same power stack.
Catalyst 9300 and 9300X, Plus Legacy 3750-X and 3850
The CAB-SPWR-30CM (0.3 m) and CAB-SPWR-150CM (1.5 m) cables are listed in the hardware installation guides for the Catalyst 9300 Series, the Catalyst 3850 Series and the Catalyst 3750-X Series. On the Catalyst 9300 family, Cisco supports StackPower only on the modular-uplink C9300 and C9300X models, not on the Catalyst 9300L / 9300LM. The Catalyst 3560-X does not support StackPower.
Redundant or Power-Sharing Modes
A power stack operates in either redundant mode, where reserve power is held back to cover the failure of a supply, or power-sharing mode, where all available supply capacity is pooled across the members. On the Catalyst 9300 and 3750-X, a power stack can include up to four switches.
Separate from Data Stacking
StackPower cables carry power only and use their own rear-panel StackPower ports. Data stacking uses separate StackWise cables, such as STACK-T1 on the Catalyst 9300, 9300X and 3850.
Choosing a Length
The 0.3 m CAB-SPWR-30CM suits switches mounted directly above one another; the 1.5 m CAB-SPWR-150CM covers switches spaced further apart or the longer return connection in a power stack.

CAB-SPWR-150CM is listed in the Catalyst 9300, Catalyst 3850 and Catalyst 3750-X hardware installation guides. Cisco's Catalyst 9300 data sheet states that StackPower is supported only on the modular-uplink C9300 and C9300X SKUs.

Does the CAB-SPWR-150CM work with the Catalyst 9300?
Yes. It is listed in the Catalyst 9300 hardware installation guide. StackPower is supported on the modular-uplink C9300 and C9300X models, not on the 9300L / 9300LM.
Is this a data stacking cable?
No. StackPower cables share power between switches only. Data stacking needs StackWise cables, such as STACK-T1 on the Catalyst 9300.
How many switches can share power?
Up to four switches per power stack on the Catalyst 9300 and 3750-X. On the 3750-X, adding an XPS 2200 extends this to up to nine switches.
Does the Catalyst 3560-X support StackPower?
No. Cisco states the Catalyst 3560-X does not support switch stacking or StackPower.
