The LH655 uses a laser phosphor light source rated at 20,000 hours in Normal mode and 30,000 hours in ECO. For a meeting room that runs eight hours a day, five days a week, that is roughly ten years on the Normal rating before any decline is expected - which removes lamp modules from the facilities budget entirely, along with the ladder work and the room downtime that goes with changing them. Laser also strikes instantly, so a room booked back to back does not lose two minutes to warm-up, and it holds colour and brightness far more steadily across its life than a lamp does.
4,000 Lumens for Rooms With the Lights On
Meeting rooms are not cinemas: people take notes, read documents and see each other's faces, so the lights stay on. At 4,000 ANSI lumens with a published 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, the LH655 puts a legible Full HD image on a screen in a normally lit boardroom or classroom without anyone reaching for the blinds. Throw distance and screen size
Throw ratio is 1.13 to 1.47 with 1.3x zoom, so throw distance equals screen width multiplied by that ratio. A 100-inch 16:9 screen is 2.21 metres wide and needs roughly 2.5 to 3.25 metres; a 120-inch screen is 2.66 metres wide and needs roughly 3.0 to 3.9 metres; an 80-inch screen is 1.77 metres wide and needs roughly 2.0 to 2.6 metres. Projection offset is 113%, so a ceiling-mounted unit sits above the top of the image.
Mounting and alignment
Table and inverted ceiling mounting are both supported. The 1.3x zoom gives useful tolerance when reusing an existing bracket position. 2D auto keystone corrects +/-40 degrees vertically and +/-40 degrees horizontally, which covers a projector mounted off the screen centre line. The IP6X dustproof optical engine suits ceiling voids and rooms served by ducted air-conditioning.

The chassis, light source, brightness, ports, speaker and dimensions are the same. The LH655 has a native 1080p (1920x1080) 16:9 panel; the LW655 has a native WXGA (1280x800) 16:10 panel. Choose 1080p where content is video or detailed documents, WXGA where budget matters more than pixel count.
