Where the BDL01 Sits in BenQ's Five-Arm Ergo Range
The BDL01 is the dual arm in BenQ's lighter Ergo tier. It uses a mechanical spring fatigue-tested to 20,000 cycles rather than the gas spring of the BDH01, carries 2-11 kg per screen instead of 2-20 kg, and ships without a reinforcement plate. In exchange it tilts considerably further — 68° to -45° against the BDH01's 50° to -20° — and adds a visual tension indicator that shows at a glance whether the arm is correctly balanced. For a standard two-screen desk of 24" or 27" panels, the BDL01 is the right specification; the BDH01 is for heavier screens.
Visual Tension Indicator Takes the Guesswork Out of Setup
Most spring arms are balanced by turning an Allen key until the screen stops drifting, which is trial and error and often left half done. The BDL01 carries a built-in tension indicator that shows whether the arm is properly adjusted for the panel fitted, so an installer or an end user can set it correctly first time. Desk mounting
