USB Console Access for Network Gear
The UC232BF turns a laptop USB port into an RJ-45 RS-232 console port, so network engineers can configure switches, routers, firewalls and other equipment with RJ-45 console ports.
No Rolled Cable Needed
It works with straight RJ-45 cables, so you can use any standard patch cable to reach the console port – no special rolled RJ-45 cable required.
FTDI Chipset, 921.6 Kbps
Built on an FTDI chipset with data rates up to 921.6 Kbps, COM port retention for saved settings, and anti-EMI design for reliable sessions.
Bus-Powered Plug and Play
No external power required. Drivers are available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
