Dual Rail LCD Console with KVM over IP
The KL1508Ai is a 1U dual rail LCD KVM switch with 8 Cat 5 computer ports and built-in KVM over IP. The LCD and keyboard modules slide independently, so you can use an external keyboard or keep the screen open while the keyboard is stowed.
Cat 5 Cabling Keeps the Rack Tidy
Servers connect over standard Cat 5e/6 cable with RJ-45 connectors through ATEN KA7xxx KVM adapters, at up to 30 m for 1920 x 1200, 40 m for 1600 x 1200 or 50 m for 1280 x 1024. Adapters are available for USB, PS/2, VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, Sun and serial devices.
Local Plus Remote Access
One local console and one remote user share the bus. Remote access supports up to 64 user accounts and 32 concurrent logins, with TLS 1.2 and RSA 2048-bit certificates and RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Active Directory authentication. Panel Array Mode shows up to 8 servers on screen at once.
Scale to 128 Computers
Daisy-chain to control up to 128 computers. Choose the 17" KL1508AiM or 19" KL1508AiN; both panels run at 1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz with ATEN's LED illumination light over the keyboard.

Selection Tip
KA7xxx adapters are not included; you need one per server. ATEN publishes FHD and non-FHD hardware versions with different remote resolutions; email us to confirm the version supplied. The KL1516Ai is the 16-port model.

No. Each server needs an ATEN KA7xxx Cat 5 KVM adapter matching its video and keyboard/mouse interface, ordered separately.
