Cat 5 Cabling for a Cleaner Rack
The KH1508A connects to each computer over standard Cat 5e/6 cable through an ATEN KVM adapter, instead of bulky KVM cable bundles. One console controls eight computers, or up to 256 by daisy-chaining 31 more switches.
Any Console, Any Computer
With the right ATEN KA7xxx adapter on each computer, PS/2, USB, VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, Sun and serial devices can all be mixed. Console conversion lets any type of console control any type of computer. Adapters are not included.
Full HD over Distance
With KA71xx or KA75xx series adapters, video reaches 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz up to 30 m, 1600 x 1200 at 60 Hz up to 40 m and 1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz up to 50 m from the switch.
Multi-User Security
Up to 10 user and 1 administrator accounts, Broadcast Mode, Adapter ID to retain port configuration, and selection by pushbutton, hotkey or multilingual OSD. Firmware is upgradeable.

Typical Use
Server rooms and data centre rows where computers sit up to 50 m from the KVM, and racks where structured Cat 5e/6 cabling is preferred to KVM cable bundles.
