This configuration ships with 16 GB of DDR5 fitted, leaving a second SO-DIMM slot free. Because the Intel Arc 140T GPU draws all of its bandwidth from system memory, running a single module limits graphics-bound performance — multi-display use, video, light 3D and the GPU-accelerated share of AI workloads all benefit from a matched second module and dual-channel operation. Storage Expansion
The 1 TB primary SSD is accessed through the same tool-less, hinged chassis as the memory. A second M.2 slot is present on the platform for a further drive if 1 TB is eventually outgrown; ask SourceIT to supply and fit an additional drive before delivery.
Display and Networking Setup
Two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports carrying DisplayPort 2.1, plus two HDMI 2.1 outputs, support up to four 4K displays between them. Wired networking is a single Intel 2.5 Gigabit port; if a resilient second wired connection is required for a firewall or gateway role, this chassis only has the one port and we can advise on an alternative.
Copilot+ and On-Device AI
The 13 TOPS NPU gives real hardware acceleration for background AI features and local inference, but it does not meet Microsoft's 40 TOPS Copilot+ PC threshold. Cloud-based Copilot works normally regardless; on-device Copilot+ experiences such as Recall do not run on this NPU.
