TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System (2-Pack)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System, 2-Pack (Deco XE75 Pro) - 3 Years Local Warranty
Two tri-band Wi-Fi 6E units for a 3-5 bedroom house, each with a 2.5 Gbps port alongside two gigabit ports. The 6 GHz band gives newer phones and laptops a clear lane of their own, and the 2.5 Gbps port means the system is not capped at one gigabit when your plan is faster than that. Set up and run from the Deco App.
Wi-Fi 6E: A Third Band at 6 GHz
TP-Link publishes 2402 Mbps at 6 GHz, 2402 Mbps at 5 GHz (both HE160) and 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, across six streams. The 6 GHz band is the point of a 6E system: it is newer spectrum with far less legacy traffic in it, so a Wi-Fi 6E client gets a lane that older devices cannot enter. WiFi capacity is published as Very High, with tri-band operation, 2x2 MU-MIMO and OFDMA spreading devices across the three bands. TP-Link publishes True Tri-Band Speed - all three WiFi bands work together to unleash your network's total speeds up to 5,400 Mbps for 200 devices†.
A 2.5 Gbps Port on Every Unit
Each unit publishes one 2.5 Gbps port plus two gigabit ports, with WAN/LAN auto-sensing§. That matters in Singapore, where multi-gigabit home plans are widely sold: the gateway unit can take the faster feed without the router being the bottleneck. The same port equally serves a NAS or a wired client at 2.5 Gbps. Ethernet backhaul between units is published as optional, so you can wire units together wherever structured cabling already runs and leave the rest wireless.
Coverage, Antennas and AI-Driven Mesh
TP-Link publishes mesh WiFi coverage up to 5,500 ft2 (2-pack)† and places the pair in 3-5 bedroom houses. Four high-gain internal antennas per unit form a signal-boosting array to cover more directions and large areas, AI-Driven Mesh learns the network environment to tune the Wi-Fi to your home, and beamforming concentrates signal strength towards clients. TP-Link Mesh Technology and optional Ethernet backhaul work together to link the Deco units for seamless coverage on one network name‡.
VPN Server and Client
TP-Link publishes both VPN rows for this model: OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec, as server and as client. Run the server to reach home resources - a NAS, a camera, a desktop - from a laptop or phone while travelling, without exposing those services to the open internet. Run the client to route the household through a provider at the router itself, so every device on the network is covered without installing anything on each one.
HomeShield Security and Parental Controls
Security covers an SPI Firewall, Access Control and HomeShield Security - Real-Time IoT Protection, Malicious Site Blocker, Intrusion Prevention System, DDoS Attack Prevention and Home Network Scanner. A guest network runs on each of the three bands. HomeShield Parental Controls add Youtube Restriction and SafeSearch on top of custom profiles, a professional content filter library, Family Time, Bedtime, Off Time, Time Rewards and weekly and monthly reports*.
Ideal For
Larger condominium units and maisonettes in Singapore on a multi-gigabit plan, households with recent Wi-Fi 6E phones and laptops, and anyone who wants VPN on the router itself rather than on each device. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

TP-Link Footnotes
†Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and quantity of connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location.
‡Clients need to support 802.11k/v/r and may require additional setup. Performance may vary depending on the client device.
△Use of Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and other features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, and BSS Color require clients to also support the corresponding features. The 160 MHz bandwidth may be unavailable in the 5 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions.
§2.5 Gbps internet speeds require compatible service plans and equipment. All WAN/LAN ports will operate as either WAN or LAN ports. Only one port can serve as a WAN port at a time.
*HomeShield includes the Free Basic Plan. Fees apply for the Pro Plan. Visit tp-link.com/homeshield for more information.
**WiFi 6E allows for 7 (3 for European Union Member states) additional 160 MHz channels, offering up to 1,200 MHz (480 MHz for European Union Member states) of additional spectrum for 6 GHz WiFi.
☆WiFi generations represent the wireless standard IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax. Users may require an extra modem device that is compatible with their internet service provider to gain internet access.
Compatibility & Software Support
Set up and managed through the Deco App; TP-Link publishes no minimum Android or iOS version for this model. HomeShield is the published service kit*.
Deco XE75 Pro is compatible with every other Deco model to form a Mesh network. Expand Mesh WiFi coverage anytime by adding more Decos. Tell us which Deco models you already run and we will confirm the mix before you order.
Backward compatible with all WiFi generations and works with any internet service provider (ISP) and modem☆.
Pair with Alexa to control Deco XE75 Pro with simple voice commands.
Two working modes are published, Router Mode and Access Point Mode, with IPv4 and IPv6, and Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP or L2TP on the WAN. IPTV covers IGMP Proxy, IGMP Snooping, Bridge and Tag VLAN, which is what a set-top box on a Singapore fibre plan generally needs.
VPN is published for this model as both server and client, over OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec.
The 6 GHz band needs a Wi-Fi 6E client to use it; a Wi-Fi 6 or older device will connect on 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz as before. Wi-Fi 6 and 6E features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM and BSS Color need client support△, and seamless roaming needs clients that support 802.11k/v/r‡.

Frequently Asked Questions - Deco XE75 Pro (2-Pack)
How is the XE75 Pro different from the plain XE75?
They are separate TP-Link models with separate published datasheets. What the XE75 Pro publishes on its own page: 1x 2.5 Gbps Port + 2x Gigabit Ports per Deco unit, AXE5400 tri-band speeds of 2402 Mbps at 6 GHz, 2402 Mbps at 5 GHz and 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz, and VPN server and client over OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec. If you are choosing between models, send us your requirement and we will compare the published datasheets for you.
Can I add other Deco models to this system?
Yes. TP-Link publishes that the Deco XE75 Pro is compatible with every other Deco model to form a Mesh network, and that you can expand Mesh WiFi coverage anytime by adding more Decos.
How much area does the 2-pack cover?
TP-Link publishes mesh WiFi coverage up to 5,500 ft2 for the 2-pack†, and places the pair in 3-5 bedroom houses.
Do I need Wi-Fi 6E devices to benefit?
To use the 6 GHz band, yes - that needs a 6E-capable client. Everything else still benefits from the tri-band design, because 6E devices moving onto 6 GHz leaves more room on 5 GHz for the rest.
What is the 2.5 Gbps port for?
It lets the gateway unit take a multi-gigabit internet feed without the router capping it at one gigabit. It can equally serve a NAS or a wired client at 2.5 Gbps§.
Does it run a VPN?
Yes. TP-Link publishes OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec as both server and client for this model.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
Three years local replacement warranty under TP-Link Singapore's published policy, with a GST invoice on every unit.
