TP-Link Deco X80 AX6000 Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System (2-Pack)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX6000 Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System, 2-Pack (Deco X80) - 3 Years Local Warranty
Two Deco X80 units on one Wi-Fi 6 network. Each node publishes 4804 Mbps on 5 GHz and 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with four high-gain internal antennas, one 2.5 Gbps port and two Gigabit ports per unit. TP-Link rates the 2-pack for 3-5 Bedroom Houses, up to 5,500 sq ft of coverage and connections for up to 200 devices†.
AX6000 on Two Bands
The X80 puts its whole AX6000 budget into two radios rather than three, so 2.4 GHz gets 1148 Mbps and 5 GHz runs at 4804 Mbps with HE160. Each unit runs IEEE 802.11ax/ac/n/a on 5 GHz and IEEE 802.11ax/n/b/g on 2.4 GHz. TP-Link rates WiFi capacity Very High, with Dual-Band, 4x4 MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 8 Streams, and four high-gain internal antennas form a signal-boosting array to cover more directions and large areas.
Wire the Hop Where You Can
On a dual-band mesh a wireless link between nodes shares a band with your devices. Each X80 carries one 2.5 Gbps port and two Gigabit ports, every one WAN/LAN auto-sensing, so where a cable run exists between the two rooms, using it for the backhaul keeps both bands free for clients. Wired and wireless links behave identically to your devices.
A 2.5 Gbps Port on Every Unit
The 2.5 Gbps port takes a multi-gigabit fibre service directly§. On the node that is not handling the WAN it becomes a fast wired port instead - useful for a NAS, a desktop or a wired access point. Across the two units you get six Ethernet ports in total, three on each, and only one can act as the WAN port at a time.
Published Software and Security
HomeShield* covers network security, parental controls and QoS by device, with SPI firewall, access control and WPA3-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA-Personal encryption. HomeShield Security adds real-time IoT protection, a malicious site blocker, an intrusion prevention system, DDoS attack prevention and a home network scanner. Guest networks run on both bands, IPv4 and IPv6 are supported, and IPTV covers IGMP proxy and snooping, bridge and tag VLAN. Use an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled device to control Deco X80 with just your voice. TP-Link publishes no VPN server or client for the Deco X80; if a router-level VPN matters, tell us and we will point you at a Deco that publishes one.
Ideal For
Singapore 3-5 Bedroom Houses on a 1 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps plan, especially where older 2.4 GHz devices matter and a 6 GHz band would go unused. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

† Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and quantity of connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location.
‡ Clients need to support 802.11k/v/r and may require additional setup. Performance may vary depending on the client device.
△ Use of Wi-Fi 6 and other features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, and BSS Color require clients to also support the corresponding features. The 160 MHz bandwidth may be unavailable in the 5 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions.
§ 2.5 Gbps internet speeds require compatible service plans and equipment. All WAN/LAN ports will operate as either WAN or LAN ports. Only one port can serve as a WAN port at a time.
* HomeShield includes the Free Basic Plan. Fees apply for the Pro Plan. Visit tp-link.com/homeshield for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions - Deco X80 (2-Pack)
Will two units cover my home?
TP-Link rates the 2-pack for 3-5 Bedroom Houses and up to 5,500 sq ft†. Send us your floor area, storeys and wall construction and we will confirm before you order.
Dual-band at AX6000 - what is the trade-off?
Without a third radio, a wireless hop between nodes shares a band with your devices. In exchange, 2.4 GHz gets 1148 Mbps, which suits homes with many older or IoT devices.
Should I wire the link between the units?
Where a cable run exists, yes. Every port is WAN/LAN auto-sensing, and wiring the hop leaves both wireless bands entirely for clients.
Does it have a VPN server?
TP-Link publishes no VPN server or client for the Deco X80. If a router-level VPN matters, tell us and we will point you at a Deco that publishes one.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty, per TP-Link's replacement warranty policy, with a GST invoice on every unit.
