TP-Link Deco X50-5G 5G AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 Gateway (1-Pack)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link 5G AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 Gateway, 1-Pack (Deco X50-5G) - 3 Years Local Warranty
A 5G gateway and a Deco mesh node in one box. Drop in a nano-SIM and it serves AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 across the home with no fixed line at all, or sits behind one as a backup. Three Ethernet ports including one at 2.5 Gbps, four internal 5G/LTE antennas and two external antenna interfaces for a fixed installation where signal is marginal.
5G and 4G Bands, Nano-SIM
TP-Link publishes 5G bands N1/N3/N5/N7/N8/N20/N28/N38/N40/N41/N77/N78, 4G FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28, 4G TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41/B42/B43 and 3G B1/B5/B8, on a nano-SIM. The N78 and N41 bands are the ones that matter most for Singapore 5G coverage - check the bands your operator uses on the plan you intend to buy, and we will confirm before you order.
One 2.5 Gbps Port and Two Gigabit Ports
The WAN side is not limited to the SIM. Three Ethernet ports, one at 2.5 Gbps and two at gigabit, all WAN/LAN auto-sensing, let the unit run on fixed fibre with the SIM as failover, or on 5G with wired clients hanging off it. TP-Link notes that only one port can serve as WAN at a time.
Two External Antenna Interfaces
Four 5G/LTE and two Wi-Fi antennas are internal, and there are two external RP-SMA-F antenna interfaces as well. Where the unit has to sit in a room with poor cellular signal, external antennas on those interfaces are the usual fix. None are supplied in the box, so budget for them separately if you expect to need them.
AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh
5 GHz at 2402 Mbps and 2.4 GHz at 574 Mbps on 802.11ax, four streams with MU-MIMO and OFDMA. TP-Link publishes coverage of 2,500 sq ft for the single unit and describes it as suiting 1-3 bedroom houses at that pack size; it also runs as a Deco mesh node, so further units extend it.
Three Working Modes
TP-Link publishes 5G/4G Router, Router and Access Point modes. That is the flexibility that justifies the product: the same box is a standalone cellular gateway in a rental or a showroom, a fixed-line router in a flat, or an access point on a network that already has a router.
Ideal For
Singapore homes and offices without a fixed line, temporary or rental premises, showrooms and event sites, and as a 5G failover path behind a fibre service. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Specifications are TP-Link's published Singapore figures for the Deco X50-5G. TP-Link publishes no 5G or LTE category number for this model, no SMS or voice-call feature row, no VPN row, no beamforming row, no buttons row, no power-adapter rating, and no processor, memory, weight or system-requirements figure. Only CE transmit power is published; TP-Link lists no FCC figure and no FCC mark for this model. Package contents are published for the 1-pack only. TP-Link does not tie its device-count figure to a pack size, so none is quoted here.
Compatibility & Software Support
Set up and managed through the Deco app; TP-Link publishes no minimum Android or iOS version for this model. HomeShield is included on the free Basic plan, with a paid Pro tier.
Three working modes are published - 5G/4G Router, Router and Access Point - with IPv4 and IPv6, and Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, L2TP or PPTP on the wired WAN. IPTV covers IGMP proxy, IGMP snooping, bridge and tag VLAN. No VPN server or client row is published for this model.
SIM and network: a nano-SIM is required and is not supplied. Band support is listed in the Technical Specifications accordion above; send us your operator and plan and we will check the bands before you order rather than assume compatibility. TP-Link's own footnote applies: “Actual 5G downlink speeds vary between households. Factors affecting 5G speeds include the internet service level, real-time network capacity, equipment and client limitations, and environmental factors.”
TP-Link publishes the network services enabled by default: web server on TCP 80/443, DNS on TCP and UDP 53, DHCP server on UDP 67, and app management on TCP 22, 20001 and 30001 and UDP 20002.

Frequently Asked Questions - Deco X50-5G (1-Pack)
Will it work on my Singapore mobile operator?
Send us the operator and plan. The published 5G and 4G bands are listed in the specifications above, and we will check them against your operator's bands before you order rather than assume.
What SIM size does it take?
Nano-SIM. No SIM card is included.
Can I use it on fibre instead of 5G?
Yes. It publishes Router mode as well as 5G/4G Router mode, and carries one 2.5 Gbps and two gigabit ports, so it can run on a fixed line with the SIM as a backup path.
Do external antennas come with it?
No. TP-Link publishes two external RP-SMA-F antenna interfaces, but the box contains no external antennas. We can quote them if the unit has to sit where cellular signal is weak.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
3 years local replacement warranty. 5G gateways appear in no exception row in TP-Link Singapore's warranty policy and take the published 3-year default.
