TP-Link Deco X50-4G 4G+ AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 Gateway (1-Pack)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link 4G+ AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 Gateway, 1-Pack (Deco X50-4G) - 3 Years Local Warranty
A Cat 6 LTE gateway and an AX3000 Deco mesh node in one unit. Put a data SIM in it and it serves dual-band Wi-Fi 6 across a home with no fixed line, or runs on fibre with the SIM as a backup. Three gigabit ports, two external 3G/4G antenna ports, and the Deco app for setup and management.
Cat 6 LTE, Up to 300 Mbps
TP-Link publishes support for 4G+ Cat6 to boost the data speeds of up to 300 Mbps. Published bands are 4G FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28, TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41, and 3G DC-HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS B1/B5/B8. Check the bands against your operator and plan - send us both and we will confirm before you order.
Two External 3G/4G Antenna Ports
Two external antenna ports let you fit higher-gain antennas where the unit sits in a room with poor cellular reception. The box includes two SMB-to-SMA adapters for that purpose; the antennas themselves are not supplied, so budget for them if you expect a marginal signal.
AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh
5 GHz at 2402 Mbps and 2.4 GHz at 574 Mbps on 802.11ax, four streams with MU-MIMO and OFDMA. TP-Link publishes coverage of 2,500 sq ft for a single unit and describes it as suiting 1-3 bedroom houses. It runs as a Deco mesh node too, so further Deco units extend it rather than replacing it.
Three Gigabit Ports and Three Working Modes
Three gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing ports, and published modes of 3G/4G, Router and Access Point. The same box therefore works as a standalone LTE gateway, as a fixed-line router, or as an access point behind an existing router. TP-Link's footnote applies: only one port can serve as WAN at a time.
HomeShield Security and Parental Controls
SPI firewall, access control, real-time IoT protection, malicious site blocking, intrusion prevention, DDoS prevention and a home network scanner, with parental controls covering user profiles, filter levels, time limits, insights and suspending connectivity. The Basic plan is included at no charge.
Ideal For
Rental flats, temporary premises, small offices and event sites in Singapore that need a network without waiting for a fixed line, and homes wanting an LTE failover path behind fibre. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Specifications are TP-Link's published Singapore figures for this model. Unpublished for this model: VPN rows, beamforming, SMS and voice features, power-adapter rating, processor, memory, weight and system requirements. Only CE transmit power is published; TP-Link lists neither an FCC figure nor an FCC or RCM mark for this model. Package contents are published for the 1-pack only. TP-Link does not tie its device-count figure to a pack size, so none is quoted here. A naming point worth stating plainly: TP-Link markets the product as “4G+ AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 Gateway” but its model string is “Deco X50-4G” without a plus.
Compatibility & Software Support
Set up and managed through the Deco app; TP-Link publishes no minimum Android or iOS version for this model. HomeShield is included on the free Basic plan, with a paid Pro tier.
Three working modes are published - 3G/4G, Router and Access Point - with IPv4 and IPv6, and Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, L2TP or PPTP on the wired WAN. IPTV covers IGMP proxy, IGMP snooping, bridge and tag VLAN. No VPN server or client row is published for this model.
SIM and network: a nano-SIM data SIM is required and is not supplied. Published bands are in the Technical Specifications accordion above; send us your operator and plan and we will check them. TP-Link's own footnote applies: “Actual 4G downlink speeds vary between households. Factors affecting 4G speeds include the internet service level, real-time network capacity, equipment and client limitations, and environmental factors.”
Wi-Fi 6 features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM and BSS Color need client support as well. Seamless roaming needs clients supporting 802.11k/v/r.

Do I get external antennas?
No. The box includes two SMB-to-SMA adapters for the two external antenna ports, but no antennas. We can quote them if reception at the intended position is weak.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
3 years local replacement warranty. 4G gateways appear in no exception row in TP-Link Singapore's warranty policy and take the published 3-year default.
