TP-Link BE22000 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh WiFi 7 System, 3-Pack (Deco BE85) - 3 Years Local Warranty
Three Deco BE85 units on one Wi-Fi 7 network - the configuration for a large or multi-storey property. Each node is tri-band with 6 GHz at 11530 Mbps, eight high-gain internal antennas and four multi-gigabit ports, so a third hop can be placed where a single router simply will not reach.
Wi-Fi 7 With MLO, 320 MHz Channels and 4K-QAM
Each unit runs IEEE 802.11be/ax on 6 GHz, 802.11be/ax/ac/n/a on 5 GHz and 802.11be/ax/n/b/g on 2.4 GHz, with 4x4 MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 12 Streams, and TP-Link rates the WiFi capacity Very High. Multi-Link Operation lets a capable client hold more than one band at once, 4K-QAM raises the data carried per symbol, and TP-Link states that the doubled channel width and speed refer to 320 MHz compared to 160 MHz for Wi-Fi 6 mesh. All of these depend on the client device supporting the same features, and 320 MHz is available on the 6 GHz band only.
Twelve Multi-Gigabit Ports Across the Property
Every unit carries one 10 Gbps port, one 10 Gbps SFP+/RJ45 combo port and two 2.5 Gbps ports, all WAN/LAN auto-sensing, plus a USB 3.0 port that TP-Link publishes with FTP Server, Media Server and Samba Server roles. Across three units that is twelve multi-gigabit ports distributed where the nodes sit - study, living room, upper floor - so a NAS, a workstation or a wired access point can connect at speed without a long cable run. The SFP+ combo slot accepts fibre directly. Mix Wired and Wireless Backhaul as the Building Allows
Because the ports are WAN/LAN auto-sensing, some hops can be wired and others wireless in the same system - practical in a house where one cable run exists between floors but not to the far end. TP-Link publishes TP-Link Mesh Technology, AI-Driven Mesh and optional Ethernet backhaul for this model under WiFi Range. Router Mode and Access Point Mode are both published, so the system can also sit behind an ISP gateway that cannot be replaced.
Published Software and Security
HomeShield covers network security, parental controls and QoS, with SPI Firewall, Access Control and a published security set of Real-Time IoT Protection, Malicious Site Blocker, Intrusion Prevention System, DDoS Attack Prevention and Home Network Scanner. WiFi encryption is published as WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA3-Personal. VPN server and client roles are published for OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec. Guest networks run on all three bands with Effective Time and Bandwidth Control, and all three nodes are managed as one network from the Deco app.

These devices simulated a typical home scenario by running simultaneous applications in the same room that included 4K video, 1080p video, 720p video, file downloading, web browsing, IP cameras, and other IoT devices.
