TP-Link Deco BE25 BE5000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 7 System (1-Pack)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link BE5000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 7 System, 1-Pack (Deco BE25) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The entry point into Wi-Fi 7 mesh. One Deco BE25 unit, dual-band, with 5 GHz at 4324 Mbps on 802.11be and 2.4 GHz at 688 Mbps, two 2.5 Gbps auto-sensing ports and four internal antennas. Buy one for an apartment, or add it as a node to a Deco network you already run.
Wi-Fi 7 on a Dual-Band Design
The BE25 brings the Wi-Fi 7 feature set - Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K-QAM and Multi-RUs - to a dual-band unit rather than a tri-band flagship. The 5 GHz radio runs Wi-Fi 7 IEEE 802.11be/ax/ac/n/a at 4324 Mbps and the 2.4 GHz radio runs 802.11ax/n/b/g at 688 Mbps, with WiFi Capacity published as Very High across six streams with OFDMA. TP-Link also lists a 320 MHz Channel among the model's Advanced Features, and publishes the BE25 as a dual-band system, with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz radios only. Use of Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6 features, MLO and 4K-QAM among them, requires client devices that support them too.
Two 2.5 Gbps Ports on the Unit
The unit carries two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports, both WAN/LAN auto-sensing, so either can take the incoming fibre service and the other can feed a wired device. TP-Link's footnote § states that 2.5 Gbps internet speeds require compatible service plans and equipment, that all WAN/LAN ports operate as either WAN or LAN, and that only one port can serve as a WAN port at a time. Should you add a second Deco unit later, either port can instead carry the optional Ethernet backhaul link between the two.
Starts as a Router, Grows into a Mesh
Working Modes are published as Router Mode and Access Point Mode, so a single BE25 works as a standalone router today and can also sit behind an ISP gateway you cannot replace. Add a second Deco unit and it becomes the first node of a mesh, with AI-Driven Mesh handling roaming between nodes and optional Ethernet backhaul available if a cable run exists. On its own, in the box, it is one unit: there is no mesh hop and no second node until you add one.
Connect Over 150 Devices
TP-Link publishes "Connect Over 150 Devices" for the Deco BE25. That figure is based on laboratory test data rather than a guarantee, as TP-Link's own footnote † sets out. It is not stated per pack size.
Published Software and Security
Network Security covers an SPI Firewall, Access Control and HomeShield Security - Real-Time IoT Protection, Malicious Site Blocker, Intrusion Prevention System, DDoS Attack Prevention and Home Network Scanner. WiFi Encryption is published as WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA3-Personal. VPN Server and VPN Client roles are both published for OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec. Guest networks run on both bands with Effective Time and Bandwidth Control, and HomeShield Parental Controls and HomeShield QoS are managed from the Deco App. TP-Link states that HomeShield includes both basic and advanced features and that advanced features require a paid subscription.
Ideal For
Singapore HDB flats and condominium units on a 1 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps plan, and as an affordable extra node on an existing Deco network. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

TP-Link's Own Footnotes
Per TP-Link's Singapore Deco BE25 product page:
† Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Connection to over 150 devices is based on laboratory test data, which analyzed the connections of different devices on the 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands simultaneously. These devices simulated a typical home scenario by running simultaneous applications in the same room that included 4K video, 1080p video, 720p video, file downloading, web browsing, IP cameras, and other IoT devices. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of internet service provider factors, network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location.
△ Use of Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and features including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and BSS Color requires clients to also support the corresponding features.
§ 2.5 Gbps internet speeds require compatible service plans and equipment. All WAN/LAN ports will operate as either WAN or LAN ports. Only one port can serve as a WAN port at a time.
* HomeShield includes both basic and advanced features. Advanced features require a paid subscription. For details, visit tp-link.com/homeshield. Some features are under development and will be supported with subsequent software updates.
☆ WiFi generations represent the wireless standard IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be. Users may require an extra modem device that is compatible with their internet service provider to gain internet access.

Frequently Asked Questions - Deco BE25 (1-Pack)
Is one unit enough?
TP-Link publishes no coverage area for the Deco BE25, so we will not quote one. Send us the floor area, number of storeys and wall construction and we will advise whether the 1-pack, 2-pack or 3-pack is the better buy.
Does the BE25 have a 6 GHz band?
No. TP-Link publishes the Deco BE25 as a dual-band system, with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz radios only. If you want a Deco with a 6 GHz radio, tell us the floor area and which models you are considering and we will confirm the band layout against TP-Link's own pages before you order.
What does the 320 MHz Channel entry mean?
TP-Link lists "320 MHz Channel" among the Deco BE25's Advanced Features, and publishes the model as dual-band with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz radios. TP-Link does not publish which band the 320 MHz channel applies to, so we do not state one. Ask us before ordering if 320 MHz operation matters to you and we will check with TP-Link.
Can I mix it with other Deco models?
Tell us which Deco models you already run and we will confirm the combination against TP-Link's own pages before you order.
What do the two 2.5 Gbps ports do?
Either can take the incoming internet service or feed a wired device, and if you add a second Deco unit either port can carry a wired backhaul link to it. TP-Link states that only one port can serve as a WAN port at a time.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty, per TP-Link's published replacement warranty policy, with a GST invoice on every unit.
