The TR-004 is a 4-bay hardware RAID enclosure supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and RAID 5 with hot spare, connected over USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C.
DAS or NAS Expansion
Use it as direct-attached storage for a PC or Mac, or expand a QNAP NAS with extra storage pools that support snapshots.
Flexible Management
Set RAID with the DIP switches, or manage it in software with QNAP External RAID Manager or from the NAS.

Notes
The bays run at SATA 3Gb/s. Not supported on TS-128, TS-228, TS-131, TS-231, TS-431, TS-431U or NAS that cannot run QTS 4.3.6 or later.

Need only two bays with a faster 10Gbps USB link? Choose the TR-002.
