Microsoft Copilot Studio Capacity Pack Subscription (CFQ7TTC0LH1F:000P) - Local Support
A Tenant-Wide Capacity Pack, Not a Per-User Seat
The most important thing to understand before you order: this is not a seat. Microsoft: "Copilot Studio is sold as tenant-wide Copilot Credit packs of 25,000 Copilot Credits each", and "Each capacity pack is a tenant license that includes 25,000 Copilot Credits per month." Consequently "Because it's a tenant-wide resource, users don't need licenses individually assigned to them." One pack covers the whole tenant up to its credit allowance.
25,000 Credits a Month, and They Do Not Roll Over
Microsoft: "Credits are available in quantities of 25,000 per month per pack" and "At the start of every monthly billing period, your 25,000 credits are replenished." Unused credits do not carry forward into the next period. That makes consumption forecasting the real work in sizing this — buy for your steady-state usage rather than your busiest month, and add packs as you grow. We are happy to work through the arithmetic with you before you commit.
Credits Replaced Messages on 1 September 2025
If your notes or an older quotation talk about message packs, that model has been retired. Microsoft moved Copilot Studio from messages to Copilot Credits as the common currency on 1 September 2025, with, in its own words, "no change in quantity per prepaid pack or pay-as-you-go rate". The 25,000 quantity carried across from the old message pack unchanged.
Three Ways Microsoft Sells the Same Capacity
Worth knowing so you can choose deliberately. The capacity pack on this listing is billed per tenant and requires the free Copilot Studio User Licence. The pay-as-you-go meter is billed per environment through an Azure billing plan and requires the Copilot Studio Author role and an Azure subscription. The Copilot Credit Pre-Purchase Plan is "a one-year, pay-up-front purchase option for Copilot Credits at built-in tiered discounts" running from 5 to 20 per cent, auto-renewing annually. If your usage is predictable and large, ask us about the pre-purchase route.

The Three Purchasing Motions Microsoft Publishes
| Capacity pack | Billed per tenant. Prerequisite: the Copilot Studio User Licence, which costs nothing. This listing |
| Pay-as-you-go meter | Billed per environment through an Azure billing plan. Requires the Copilot Studio Author role and an Azure subscription |
| Copilot Credit Pre-Purchase Plan | "a one-year, pay-up-front purchase option for Copilot Credits at built-in tiered discounts" of 5 to 20 per cent, auto-renewing annually. Microsoft also publishes a parallel Agent Pre-Purchase Plan spanning Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry |
What the Tenant Needs
| Power Platform environment | Required |
| Dataverse for Copilot Studio | Default allocation of 15 GB database, 20 GB file and 2 GB log storage. Agents run in a Dataverse environment |
| Managed Environments | Support included with the tenant licence |
| Admin roles | "You must be a Global Administrator or Billing Administrator to buy capacity packs. You must be a Global Administrator to enable capacity pack usage" |
| Copilot Studio User Licence | Free, and must be assigned in the admin centre. Its prerequisite is that the tenant holds a prepaid Copilot Credit pack subscription |
| Minimum purchase | One pack |
Data Residency
| Singapore | Explicitly supported. Microsoft's data locations table lists Singapore against the Southeast Asia Azure geographic location, separately from the Asia and East Asia entry |
| Generative AI processing | May leave the region. Microsoft's Power Platform availability table shows, for Singapore, Azure OpenAI Service as "In region* or United States" and Bing Search as United States, so web-grounded search is processed in the United States |
| Cross-geography movement | "Accessing Copilot Studio generative AI features from regions outside the United States results in data movement across regional boundaries", and "Once enabled, any data movement that occurred while this feature was enabled cannot be reversed by removing your consent" |
| Other exceptions | Certain metadata such as application name, description and logo is stored globally, and historical agent activity data is stored in the geographic region of the end user's Exchange mailbox |
| EU Data Boundary | Applies only where the tenant has an EU or EFTA billing address and all environments are created inside the boundary. A Singapore-billed tenant is out of scope |
What Microsoft Does Not Publish for This Product
The following are commonly asked about but are not stated on any current official Microsoft source for this product, so SourceIT does not quote them: any requirement that the capacity pack be bought on an annual term, a Singapore dollar list price, a lifecycle or retirement page for Copilot Studio and the credit consumption rate per feature on the pages cited here. We would rather leave a field blank than print a figure we cannot substantiate.
Lifecycle, End of Support and Entitlement
SourceIT sells this as a twelve-month subscription with a GST invoice in Singapore. The subscription is a right to use the service for the term, not a perpetual licence: when the term ends the entitlement ends unless it is renewed.
Microsoft publishes no lifecycle page for Copilot Studio and no retirement announcement, so this listing makes no lifecycle claim. The one published structural change is the move from messages to Copilot Credits on 1 September 2025, with the pack quantity and pay-as-you-go rate carried across unchanged. One thing that is not a product retirement, in case you see it referenced: Microsoft is retiring the Create custom agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio applied skill, replacing it with the AB-100 and AB-620 certifications. That is a certification change, not a change to the product.
Talk to our team before the renewal date rather than after it. Seat counts, mid-term changes and co-terming with the rest of your Microsoft estate are all easier to arrange in advance, and we can quote the alternatives if a bundle would work out better for you.
Support and Entitlement Position
This is a software subscription, not hardware. It carries no hardware warranty, and any warranty term you see on a hardware listing does not apply here. What you are buying is a twelve-month right to use the service, together with SourceIT's local support in Singapore. Microsoft's own condition is that technical and billing support for a subscription bought through a partner runs through that partner, so for this subscription that means us: raise the ticket with SourceIT and we escalate to Microsoft where it needs to go. Renewal, seat changes and co-terming are handled on your SourceIT account. Ask our team for the current entitlement position in writing with your quotation.
Compatibility, Deployment and System Requirements
Sizing is the whole job on this product, and it is worth doing properly. Each pack is 25,000 Copilot Credits a month, tenant-wide, and unused credits do not roll over. That means the right number of packs is driven by your steady-state consumption, not your peak month and not your user count. Tell us what your agents will actually do and roughly how often, and we will work through the arithmetic with you before you commit rather than after your first overage.
The tenant needs a Power Platform environment, and agents run in Dataverse — Microsoft publishes a default Copilot Studio allocation of 15 GB database, 20 GB file and 2 GB log storage. Buying and enabling the packs is an administrator task: a Global Administrator or Billing Administrator to buy, and a Global Administrator to enable usage. The free Copilot Studio User Licence must then be assigned in the admin centre.
Data location has a genuine caveat here and we would rather you hear it from us. Singapore is explicitly supported as a Copilot Studio geography, mapped to Southeast Asia. But generative AI processing can leave the region: Microsoft's own availability table shows Azure OpenAI Service for Singapore as "In region* or United States" and Bing Search as United States. Microsoft also warns that "Once enabled, any data movement that occurred while this feature was enabled cannot be reversed by removing your consent." If cross-border processing is a compliance problem, settle it before you switch the features on.
How the Capacity Pack Works
| Unit of purchase | A tenant-wide capacity pack, not a user seat |
| Credits per pack | 25,000 per month, no roll-over |
| User licences | Not individually assigned. A free Copilot Studio User Licence is assigned in the admin centre |
| Platform requirement | A Power Platform environment; agents run in Dataverse |
| Admin roles | Global or Billing Administrator to buy; Global Administrator to enable |
| Singapore geography | Supported, mapped to Southeast Asia |
| Generative AI processing | May be processed in the United States, and Bing Search is United States for Singapore |

Frequently Asked Questions — Copilot Studio Capacity Pack Subscription
Is this a per-user licence?
No. Microsoft sells Copilot Studio as "tenant-wide Copilot Credit packs of 25,000 Copilot Credits each", and states that "Because it's a tenant-wide resource, users don't need licenses individually assigned to them." One pack covers the whole tenant up to its credit allowance. That is why the price looks unlike a seat price.
Do unused credits carry over?
No. Microsoft replenishes 25,000 credits at the start of every monthly billing period, and unused credits do not carry into the next one. Size against steady-state consumption rather than a peak month, and add packs as usage grows. We will work through the forecast with you.
We were quoted in messages, not credits. Has something changed?
Yes. Microsoft moved Copilot Studio from messages to Copilot Credits as the common currency on 1 September 2025, with "no change in quantity per prepaid pack or pay-as-you-go rate". The 25,000 quantity carried across from the old message pack. If you are working from an older quotation or a set of internal notes, they will use the retired terminology.
What does the tenant need before we can use it?
A Power Platform environment, since agents run in Dataverse — Microsoft publishes a default allocation of 15 GB database, 20 GB file and 2 GB log storage for Copilot Studio. Buying the packs needs a Global Administrator or Billing Administrator, enabling usage needs a Global Administrator, and the free Copilot Studio User Licence is then assigned in the admin centre.
Will our data stay in Singapore?
Partly, and the distinction matters. Microsoft explicitly supports Singapore as a Copilot Studio geography, mapped to Southeast Asia. But generative AI processing may leave the region: its Power Platform availability table shows Azure OpenAI Service for Singapore as "In region* or United States" and Bing Search as United States. Microsoft also warns that data movement which has already happened "cannot be reversed by removing your consent". Settle this before enabling the features, not after.
