Logitech MK295 Silent Wireless Combo
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Logitech MK295 Silent Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo (920-009814) - 2 Years Local Warranty
SilentTouch Combo That Removes Over 90% of Keyboard and Mouse Noise
The Logitech MK295 Silent Wireless Combo (920-009814) keeps the familiar feel of typing and clicking while removing over 90% of the sound. Logitech’s own acoustic testing, measured to ISO 7779, puts the K295 keyboard at 16.90 dBA against 30.05 dBA for the non-silent K270 — a 95% reduction — and the M220 silent mouse at 24.25 dBA against 36.65 dBA for the M185, a 94% reduction. For Singapore’s open-plan floors, shared apartments and shophouse offices, that is a measurable difference rather than a marketing claim.
Full-Size Layout with Eight Shortcuts and a Number Pad
The keyboard keeps a full-size layout with a complete number pad and eight convenient shortcuts covering play/pause, volume, mute and email. Keys are rated for 7 million keypresses with 3.2 mm of travel and a 2.4 mm actuation distance, and the board is spill-resistant to a maximum of 60 ml. Adjustable tilt legs and a Caps Lock indicator complete a familiar desktop setup.
Years of Battery Life on Standard Alkaline Cells
The keyboard runs up to 36 months on two AAA cells and the mouse up to 18 months on a single AA — the longest mouse life of any 2.4 GHz combo in this range. Both devices connect through one tiny USB receiver with a 10 m range and on/off switches to stretch runtime further. Plug it in once and the maintenance schedule effectively disappears.
Compact Optical Mouse and Published Carbon Footprint
The M220 mouse uses Logitech’s Capella high-precision optical tracking at 1000 DPI in a contoured, portable 99 x 60 x 39 mm shape weighing 74 g with its battery. Logitech publishes a carbon footprint of 7.8 kg CO2e over a two-year use period, calculated to ISO 14067:2018 with critical review by DEKRA — a figure that is increasingly requested in Singapore green-procurement submissions.

Compatibility & Software Support
Operating system support
- Windows 10 or later
- Windows 8
- Windows 7
- ChromeOS
An available USB port is required for the receiver. Logitech does not list macOS support for the MK295, so we do not claim it. If macOS is a requirement, the MK250 (macOS 12 or later) and the MK850 (macOS 10.10 or later) are the documented alternatives in this range.
Software
None required. The MK295 is plug-and-play and has no companion application. It is explicitly a non-Unifying device, so it is not managed through the Logitech Unifying utility, Logi Options+ or Logitech Sync.
SourceIT supplies this product with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice. Logitech’s own published manufacturer warranty period may differ by region — contact SourceIT if you need the manufacturer terms in writing.

Regional part number note: 920-009814 is the SKU stocked in Singapore. Logitech’s European datasheet covers a different SKU block for the same product — 920-009794 (EAN 5099206092372), 920-009823 Off-White International (5099206092587) and 920-009799 Graphite International (5099206092426) — so an EMEA datasheet will quote a different number. Logitech does not publish an official barcode for 920-009814, so we do not state a UPC for this listing.

Frequently Asked Questions — Logitech MK295
How quiet is the MK295 in real terms?
Logitech measured it to ISO 7779 with a microphone one metre from the device centre across four angles. The K295 keyboard came in at 16.90 dBA against 30.05 dBA for the non-silent K270 — a 95% reduction — and the M220 mouse at 24.25 dBA against 36.65 dBA for the M185, a 94% reduction. Logitech’s headline claim is “over 90% of keyboard and mouse noise” eliminated. The tactile feel of each press is preserved.
Does the MK295 use Bluetooth or a USB receiver?
A USB receiver. The MK295 connects over 2.4 GHz through a small nano receiver that serves both devices with a 10 m range. Logitech describes it specifically as a non-Unifying receiver, so a generic Unifying dongle will not pair with it. If you need a dongle-free Bluetooth set instead, the MK250 Compact is the alternative.
How does it compare with the MK270R and the MK345?
All three are full-size 2.4 GHz combos. The MK270R is the budget option without SilentTouch, at 12 months of mouse battery life. The MK295 adds silent keys and clicks plus 18 months of mouse life. The MK345 trades silence for an integrated palm rest and a sculpted right-handed mouse. Pick the MK295 for shared acoustic environments and the MK345 for long-session typing comfort.
Is the MK295 mouse suitable for left-handed users?
Logitech describes the M220 only as a “contoured and portable shape” and does not state that it is ambidextrous, so we do not make that claim. If left-handed use is a firm requirement, the MK270R and MK250 mice are both explicitly documented by Logitech as ambidextrous.
Do I need any software or licence?
No. The MK295 is plug-and-play with no companion application, no licence and no subscription. It is a non-Unifying device, so it is not configured through the Logitech Unifying utility, Logi Options+ or Logitech Sync either. That makes it easy to include in a locked-down standard operating environment.
Which USB port and cable does it need?
One available USB-A port for the receiver, and nothing else — there is no charging cable, dock or power adapter. Both devices run on standard alkaline cells: two AAA in the keyboard for up to 36 months and one AA in the mouse for up to 18 months, with on/off switches on both to extend that further.
Why do some datasheets show a different keyboard height for the MK295?
Logitech’s own sources disagree: the datasheet gives 18 mm and the support specification page gives 22.75 mm, while width and depth agree at 441 x 149 mm. We publish both figures rather than pick one. The same applies to weight, quoted as 495 g on the support page and 498 g on the datasheet, both with batteries fitted.
Does the MK295 come with warranty in Singapore?
Yes. Every MK295 sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
