Logitech Mevo Core 4K Micro Four Thirds Live Streaming Camera Graphite
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Logitech Mevo Core 4K Micro Four Thirds Live Streaming Camera, Graphite (961-000523) - 2 Years Local Warranty
Mevo Core - a Micro Four Thirds streaming camera, not a webcam
The Mevo Core is the most capable camera in Logitech's Mevo line: a 4/3 CMOS sensor of 8.3 megapixels behind an interchangeable Micro Four Thirds lens mount, recording 4K at 30 fps up to 40 Mbps and streaming 4K30 or 1080p60 over Wi-Fi 6E. It is built for productions where image quality and depth-of-field control matter - church and campus services, town halls, hybrid events, product launches, studio and classroom capture - and where a fixed-lens conference camera will not do.
Please read this before you order: no lens is included
The Mevo Core ships as a body only. The Micro Four Thirds mount is what gives it interchangeable optics, but it means you must supply an MFT lens separately before the camera will produce an image. Logitech does not include one in the box, and this is the single most common misunderstanding on this product. If you do not already own MFT glass, budget for a lens as part of the purchase and talk to us about what suits the room and working distance before you order.
Wi-Fi 6E, NDI and SRT - built to sit on a network, not on a USB cable
Mevo Core streams over Wi-Fi 6E and can create its own access point. It is NDI-enabled for IP video on a local network and SRT-enabled for secure, low-latency streaming over the public internet, and it pushes RTMP(S) to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and other platforms through the Mevo app. Wired Ethernet with PoE is available through a USB-C adapter. One of its two USB-C ports also runs UVC webcam mode, so it can drop into Teams, Zoom or Google Meet as a very high-quality camera when needed.
Six hours on battery, and mounts on every side
A rechargeable and user-replaceable lithium-ion battery gives up to six hours at 4K30 recording or 1080p30 streaming, with USB-C external power for longer runs. Four 1/4-20 threads - one on each side of the 700 g body - give real flexibility on rigs, cages and clamps rather than a single tripod socket.
Audio that does not need a separate recorder
Three MEMS microphones with Fraunhofer upHear spatial processing handle room sound, and a 3.5 mm TRS input takes a wireless receiver, a mixer feed or a shotgun mic when you need broadcast-quality audio. Output is AAC at 48 kHz, 16-bit.

Compatibility & What You Will Also Need
| A Micro Four Thirds lens | Required and not included. Any MFT-mount lens fits. Choose focal length for your working distance - a wide prime or zoom for close lectern and classroom work, a longer zoom for a hall or auditorium. Ask us if you would like a recommendation for the room. |
| Multi-camera production | The Mevo Studio app connects multiple Mevo cameras, webcams, NDI sources and media into one production. Mevo Core can be mixed with Mevo Start cameras in the same setup. |
| Wired networking | Ethernet and PoE are supported through a USB-C adapter, which is not included. Recommended for permanent installs and for any stream you cannot afford to drop. |
| Recording media | A microSD card is required for local recording and is not included. |
| Video conferencing use | UVC webcam mode over USB-C works with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and other soft clients. Note that Mevo Core is a streaming camera, not a certified conference room device - for Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms certification see the Logitech MeetUp and Rally Bar range. |
| Power for long events | Six hours on the internal battery; USB-C external power for anything longer. The battery is user-replaceable, so a spare is a practical option for all-day productions. |

Frequently Asked Questions - Logitech Mevo Core
Does it come with a lens?
No. The Mevo Core is sold as a body only with a Micro Four Thirds mount. You must supply an MFT lens separately before the camera will produce an image. This is the most common misunderstanding on this product, which is why we state it at the top of the page as well as here. Tell us the room and the working distance and we will help you choose one.
Can I use it as a webcam for Teams or Zoom?
Yes. One of the two USB-C ports supports UVC webcam mode, so it appears as a camera in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and similar clients. It is not a certified Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms device, however - for a certified meeting room appliance see the Logitech MeetUp 2 or Rally Bar range.
Does it support NDI and SRT?
Yes, both. Logitech publishes Mevo Core as NDI-enabled for IP video on a local network and SRT-enabled for secure, low-latency streaming across the internet, alongside RTMP(S) publishing to YouTube, Facebook and Twitch through the Mevo app.
Can I run it on wired Ethernet?
Yes, through a USB-C Ethernet adapter, and PoE is supported. The adapter is not included. For permanent installations or any stream that cannot drop, we would recommend wired over Wi-Fi.
How long does the battery last?
Logitech publishes up to six hours at 4K30 recording or 1080p30 streaming. The battery is rechargeable and user-replaceable, so a spare battery is a sensible addition for all-day events, and USB-C external power is supported for continuous running.
Can I use several Mevo cameras together?
Yes. The Mevo Studio app connects multiple Mevo cameras, webcams, NDI sources and media into a single production, and Mevo Core can be mixed with Mevo Start cameras. The Mevo Start 3-Pack is the usual starting point for a multi-camera setup.
What warranty does it come with?
Two years. Logitech publishes a 2-year limited hardware warranty for the Mevo Core, and units sold by SourceIT carry a 2-year Singapore local warranty with a GST invoice - so the local term matches the manufacturer's rather than shortening it.
